dreamland daycare
Project Overview
Dreamland daycare is a pilot for a series which I have many ideas for. it has become a bit of a passion project for me, I've been working on it alone for several years. this slow progress is why I'm looking for animators and voice actors.
Dreamland daycare is a psych ward that reverts traumatized adults to a younger state, before their trauma occurred. they write over bad memories with pleasant memories of the daycare. this process helps many get over their unresolved childhood trauma, but doesn't stick for davey, our main character.
davey repeatedly ends up in the daycare, with no recollection of his previous visits. until a staff member (kindbot) decides to break davey out of the loop. to do this he has to take him through dreamland. dreamland is a shared headspace where all dreams and memories go. the daycare is right on the edge of this place. inside are discarded traumatic memories from the daycare, davey must find his memories to escape dreamland and become himself again.

Voice Actor
this role will be for a character named Ronnie. he's one of the companion bots made for dreamland daycare. he's got a cheerful and energetic voice, with a bit of a toony nasally sound. he speaks in a higher register, similar to wakko or yakko from the animaniacs. this high energy is a mask though. a forced personality. sometimes he slips up and shows an underlying sadness.

this role is for a therapist at dreamland daycare. in therapy she has a measured and reassuring voice. outside of therapy she's anxious and frantic.

Voice Actor
this role will be for Harvey, the main antagonist. Harvey is dreamlands operating system essentially. he's an absolutely massive super computer. he controls the entire building, and the all the bots inside it. his voice is eerily calm, confident and polite. he doesn't sound like a robot, but speaks a bit overly formally.

this role will be for Addy Andy. Addy Andy is best friends with the main character, Davey. they are energetic and kind. sounds childish and bubbly. going for a tomboy vibe.
