Dread and Lust | Introduction voice-over

Project Overview

Looking for a deep voice to do an introduction written below. It is for an experiment of a potential audio drama. I've linked a video to the monologue that you will be saying. The idea is the narration starts out as a creepy text to speech and transitions into your voice. But I would still like to hear the complete introduction said in a human voice should I think of using your voice solely and ditch the text to speech audio altogether. Who knows.

Be as sinister, but yet monotone. Reminiscent of a sociopath. Cold and dark. You can add any flare you want, though. Surprise me.

  • A guy like me can't afford not to be euphemistic - to talk vaguely about certain things. Even when all secrets will inevitably be revealed. But talking like this is good to bide my time.

I have to ask anyone listening and answer to yourself, have you been found out? I mean, have you been found out about a lie you told, or a secret you've kept? How did you feel in that moment? Perhaps a warming of the chest? The tingle on your cheeks? The pit of your stomach freefalling into the bottomless unknown? If I had seen your face right now, I would tell you, "You need not worry with me. I'm very rational, negotiable. A price is all I seek." I would smile, inside of course, at the discontent I see in your eyes. Do you understand? It's not the horrified face that satisfies me, it's the indication of my certainty that I have succeeded... That my game I play is one I'm winning.  That's what I do. Not a secret bearer but a secret burner. I have seen dread wash over in faces like oil spilling into rivers. Scandals I've witnessed that made lust my favorite sin. Ladies and Gentlemen, I want to welcome you to my show.

    Dread and Lust.
