Project Overview

Hey everyone, I'm gonna be working on a new Dragon Ball Z fan series titled Dragon Ball X (The X in Dragon Ball X means crossover). I decided that I'm doing a series (as doing movies is just too much, and also that they never work out), and the first saga/season is about a 15-year-old Saiyan/human hybrid boy living in Hyrule, named Dylan, setting out to get revenge on a very powerful demon named Damien, after attacking his grandfather. Along the way, he meets a very beautiful anthro dog named Jessica, and also brings his best friend Alex along for the ride. He also begins learning how to use and control his ki, under the tutelage of Link, the Hylian Champion who hasn't been seen for 7 years.

This series will begin production on Thanksgiving break. I am a very impatient person, so I will require those to send in auditions every two or three days. If it's a little unfair, though, I can change that no problem. Once casted, I will send you the script, and I'll give you time to work on the final lines (at least 2 or 3 weeks, or shorter, if you have enough time). Anyways, have fun auditioning, and I can't wait to work with you! :D

For now, only Dylan, Alex, and Jessica are available. I will add more characters tomorrow.

  • Deadline extended to New Year's Eve.

    So I took a somewhat long break from this project, and today, I just got that spark to begin working on this again. As a result, I've decided to extend the deadline to New Year's Eve. Production will begin again tomorrow. Thanks to all who have auditioned. You are truly amazing, and I hope to get more auditions in the future. Some of you guy's auditions may have not fit for the characters you've auditioned for, but you did your best attempt, and I'm proud of you. I hope to begin working with you once I start production again. :D

His voice should sound like his voice in Breath of the Wild. If you want, you may go with your own take. You don't have to use the Japanese accent, but it is recommended to capture the Champion title he holds.

  • I am Link, the Hylian Champion. I've heard you were looking for me, so you could learn how to use your ki, am I right?

  • The first step in using your ki, is to draw it out. Just concentrate on whatever body part you want to draw your ki out from, and it will be generated in the form of energy. Try it with your hand. You can shoot ki blasts from there.

Their voice should be something that captures the monkey appearance that they have, while being human at the same time. It is recommended to make both of their voices different from each other, so it is easier to tell which monkeyman is speaking.
