Project Overview

This (unpaid) project is going to be all about voicing over Rachel Renée Russell's "Dork Diaries" book series!


We're starting off with the first book in the series, "Tales from a NOT-SO-Fabulous Life" and working our way up! Therefore, this WILL be a long project, so I hope you intend on sticking around if you audition (especially if you get a main role)!


Wiki Description: Dork Diaries is a children's book series written by Rachel Renée Russell and illustrated by Nikki Russell and Rachel Renée Russell. The series, written in a diary format, uses drawings, doodles, and comic strips to chronicle the daily life of its 14-year-old protagonist, Nikki Maxwell.


WARNING! These books are extremely silly, so be prepared to say some things that you normally would never say on a day-to-day basis :)

  • To All Of Those That Have Auditioned

    To all of those that have auditioned:

    I thank you all for taking time out of your days to audition for my project, I loved all of your voices very much.

    Unfortunately, due to motivational loss for this project, the lack of people I have been able to assign for specific parts, and how busy I have been (causing me to not have the time to do anything with it even if I had the motivation), I do not think I will be continuing through with this project..

    I do hope you all understand..

    I thank you all again for your wonderful auditions, and I apologize for wasting that time you spent auditioning for it. You all have amazing voices, and I'm sure you will go to do great things with it on other projects.

  • Deadline

    I have lengthened the deadline because there are still some characters that I need auditions for.

    The deadline is now August 31.

  • Audition Selection

    Hey, everyone.

    So, I'm now going to start selecting people for roles. I know it's not the deadline yet, but I'm selecting a head of time because I wanna make sure the roles that don't have auditions yet (reoccurring and minor Characters) get submissions as well.

    If you auditioned for one of the more main roles and don't get selected, don't worry. You are free to reaudition for the characters that need auditions, and there are a LOT of them that need it and I'd appreciate if you auditioned for more than just the main characters.

    I'm going to try and get more people to audition as well. I need it more than ever if I want to go through with this project. If we don't get enough auditions for all the characters, then unfortunately we'll be unable to go through with it. So maybe share the project around on your end as well, it'd help out a lot.

  • Audition Submissions

    Hey, so I've noticed that auditions for this project have been going slow and I am unsure of what to do.

    I have shared this project around and I'm finding it to be difficult to find people to audition. I would love to have some help getting this project out so we can receive more submissions, because there are still a LOT of roles that need to be auditioned for.
