Project Overview
This is a project between I and my co-writerAileen-Rose, involving creating dramatic readings and comic dubs of our series Survive the Shadows (collab) and Aileen's Don't Starve Together Journals (her solo story). The stories are about the Don't Starve cast (and some OC's like Jack Carter) surviving and adapting to the strange yet magical world around them.

The Cake Devil
Jack Carter is a man in his late 30's, a doctor who is kind but fierce when he needs to be. He has a large heart for his family, even if they've done something wrong, he can't hold a grudge forever. He loves his younger brother William dearly and even if he's changed now Jack still cares deeply for him. Jack is also a doting parent to his twin daughters Wendy and Abigail. Never get on his bad side though, when he snaps he SNAPS. Jack hails from England so please do your best English/British accent for him.
"William, I need you to trust me. It's going to take time and it might hurt too, but in the end you'll be healthy." *encouraging/gentle tone*
"Oh you two little rascals!" *amused*
"William... I.. I'm sorry I was such a lousy brother." *weak/tired*

Laika is a creature known as Thulecitian a creature that is a bit of a mix between human and scorpion. She's a warrior for her people so while she's generally sweet and curious of the world around her (namely anything human related) she can be fierce and will fight to the end. She has some fears of her own however. She also speaks a different language (a fictional one, so keep in mind whoever will be playing her will be asked to try their best attempt at it. Not all of her lines will be spoken in it however.)
"Hello? Is anyone there?" *cautious tone*
"What is a... Hoo mon?" *curious voice*
"Answer my question creature!" *angry tone*

Winona is a former factory worker who was brought to the Shadow World by her elder sister the new queen, Charlie. She is a no-nonsense kind of person who's more for tinkering and working with her hands then anything else. She's stubborn, a bit thoughtless sometimes with what she says but does have a good heart. She also has a slight (SLIGHT) Southern accent.
"You workin' hard or hardly workin'?" *teasing voice*
"Ha, I know all your moves Charlie!" *confident tone*
"Oh man I wanna know how this thing is put together!" *excited voice*
