Unlike other Crimson Demons, Yunyun is a very sensitive and timid, who gets embarrassed and upset easily. Because of her shyness and common sense, she was ostracized by her clan, who see her as a weirdo, never developing any social skills, and becaming a loner who usually spends the whole day in the Guild playing games, even two-player ones, all by herself.

For such reason, Yunyun is desperately looking for friends, often stalking those she wants to befriend and making up excuses to hang out with them, as she lacks confidence to directly ask them to hang out or any sort of favor. Yunyun is also very unlucky, as she is nowhere to be found when someone is either looking for her or just menaging to befriend with suspicious people like Dust. In the anime, Yunyun also compulsively lies in order to hide the fact she is a loner.

Sayori is initially portrayed as the character archetype of a Genki Girl, expressing a bubbly and cheery disposition. She is very clumsy, noted for finding ways to accidentally hurt herself or to drop random things. Regardless, she is shown to be a jokingly cunning individual who can trick others to get food, shown after managing to eat Natsuki's cookie without her permission. Sayori has also been known by the protagonist to obsess over activities that she loses interest in later. She states that writing poetry and studying literature is different to her than those other interests because it helps her explore her feelings.

However, it is later revealed that she suffers from bad depression and works so hard to make the people around her happy to cope with her own lack of self-love amongst other things. She is also usually the only character, other than the protagonist, shown to break up arguments, Monika noting that her sentiments are necessary to keep a relaxing atmosphere in the Literature Club. This is proven by her absence in Act 2. Monika notes that while she may look like a good leader, Sayori is usually better when it comes to dealing with people, notably at mediations. She tries her best to help everyone be happy and dislikes attention directed at her well-being because she feels unworthy of anything that others have to offer her.

Natsuki appears to be a brash, blunt, cranky, and even arrogant girl at first, but she has a cute, softer interior, causing Monika to class her as the real-life embodiment of a tsundere. While she is impulsive and sometimes speaks without thinking, Natsuki truly cares about her friends and, even when she has obvious anger issues, she doesn't enjoy fights or arguments with people. Over the course of the game, it is shown that she worries about Yuri, and, on one occasion, she gives the protagonist a note asking him to help Yuri, fearing that if she spoke out then it would cause more arguments. Natsuki is very stubborn and has a hard time expressing how she feels and what she wants. When repeatedly challenged, she often becomes awkward and tongue-tied, then aggressive, and then simply bursts into tears.

Natsuki is also shown to be less pushy and more relaxed when she is outside of school, as mentioned by the protagonist when she visits his home. She is also known to be skilled in baking, as she made delicious cupcakes for when the main character first arrives in the Literature Club, and for the festival.

Her voice should be higher pitched. You're free to try a new variation but sounding similar to the previous version is preferred.

Although she looks dignified at first, Aqua is the opposite of what is expected of a goddess, being sloppy, disrespectful, and touchy, often mistreating and mocking Kazuma. Also, while she often calls Kazuma a "hikkiNEET", Aqua herself is a loafer too, as, although she is more lively and fun-loving than Kazuma, Aqua also spends most of her time doing nothing or getting wasted, and is easily influenced by both Kazuma and Cecily's bad behaviors.

Also, due to her low Intellect, Aqua is absent-minded, heedless, forgetful and unable to understand complex conversations or situations. Her low intelligence, combined to her poor Luck, are the reasons why most of her ideas and actions end up in a "critical failure". Aqua is, however, very intuitive and astute, guessing correctly what her party's antics, as well as thinking fast in the rare occasion she is focused.

Furthermore, Aqua is a crybaby. Since she is oversensitive and prone to fear, Aqua always cries when she is scared, upset, or traumatized. Also, like a child, Aqua fakes crying sometimes to get what she wants as well as throws a tantrum. In addition, like a kid, Aqua is wasteful, often spending all her money partying and getting drunk with no thoughts for tomorrow. Being a bohemian is even one of the doctrines of her cult.

Megumin's most notorious trait is her obsession for Explosion Magic. After being saved by a mysterious stranger using that spell, Megumin instantly fell in love with the Explosion Magic's unparalleled destructive power, dedicating years studying and saving points in order to master the spell, while ignoring its many demerits. After learning it, Megumin started to come up with excuses to use Explosion Magic every day, recklessly using the spell even when she knows it will cause problems for her and her party. Megumin also doesn't accept any other type of explosion, like Kazuma's tinymites.

Like almost all Crimson Demons, Megumin has a chuunibyou personality, often making speeches using old Japanese dialect and striking cringe-worthy poses. However, her act can drop easily. She is also an attention seeker and has delusions of grandeur (calling herself "the foremost arch wizard and wielder of Explosion Magic" and boasting about her genius and talent, as well as fantasizing about becoming the next Devil King), alongside a taste for strange names, "cool" stuff and destructive hobbies. Although Megumin also enjoys cute stuff, she doesn't admit it in order to keep her "cool" poise.
