Project Overview
Hello there! I am Cyanide FS. On a past channel, I have made DDLC animations which had turned into a 5-episode review show, which would turn into an original series including them, original characters, and the cast of Konosuba.
Now the title of this casting call is half right, as I am hard rebooting a series I had made, and both the original series and this reboot involve the Dokis as part of the main-supporting cast. This is a reboot of my old series, Cyanide & Friends!

Currently, I only need two of the Dokis recast, Monika and Yuri. I will making a casting call for the remaining Konosuba characters that I'll need at a later time, but for now, let's focus on these two.
As this is a recasting, the casting call can end at any time if I find the voices that I'm looking for.
Here are some of the requirements:
1. A good microphone with no muffling or background noise. (You don't need XLR mics, as some USB options like the HyperX Quadcast or Blue Yeti are fine options)
2. Comfortable with swearing and/or yelling.
3. Clear communication. This should be a given but I've had issues with this in the past.
4. Have either Discord or email. Discord is preferable but email is a good alternative.
5. This project requires commitment. If you cannot commit, do not audition.
If/when cast, I will contact you via Discord or email to run by some things again and confirm that you want the role you were cast as.

Voice Actor
Monika is (or was) the leader of the Literature Club. The other characters describe Monika as intelligent, confident, and athletic. She is not as talkative as the other girls, but it is hinted that this is not by choice. Monika is also known to be highly popular, which makes the protagonist admire her. She is always depicted as mature and hardworking, with a serene, compassionate expression on her face.
In the original series, she could have been dubbed as the "mother of the house," she was also in a relationship with a professional wrestler known as "Woken Matt Hardy," though this relationship is mainly due to their shared interest in deletion. This latter part will not be returning in the reboot.

Voice Actor
Yuri is portrayed throughout the majority of the game as being shy, generous, polite, apologetic, very intelligent, mature, eloquent, and passionate about topics she is interested in, although she is also very insecure, awkward, and has a tendency to act slightly condescending and patronizing to mask her self-doubt.
But due to being part of the literature club, she has opened up some more and is more communicative than portrayed in the game.
