Episode Two Places the Doctor in the TARDIS which is hit by an escape pod which continues to crash towards earth.. UNIT call the Doctor and ask him to investigate the crash site.. The Doctor works with his newly made friend Emma to work out the creature is a Rutan and on the run from the Sontarans.. the Doctor later finds that the Sontarans threaten to blow up earth to kill the Rutan.. The Doctor tries to get the Rutan off world and safe but the Rutan has other ideas...
