This is a story full of bloodshed, romance, family, despair, and, most importantly, Discord. This... is Discordant Retribution.
The tale of Chloe, a young Pokémon Trainer in Alola who, after meeting an Absol, goes through an emotional reality-defying adventure. The Absol's father is an all-powerful portal-opening shiny Zoroark that has cruel plans for Chloe's universe, and it's all up to Chloe and her team to stop him.
This will be an audio drama series posted to YouTube, with occasional accompanying drawings! I am looking for voice actors that can help me out with bringing this series to life! There will be four arcs, each with multiple parts that will be released as they are finished. This casting call is only for characters introduced in the first arc, Future Sight!
Please have access to a high-quality mic, the ability to record long portions of audio, a gmail account to send files, and a discord account! I will make a discord server for those of you who get casted. Also, please be okay with mild swearing! Nothing too bad though, don't worry.
Abby is the Absol that joins Chloe's team because she senses great danger that could kill Inferno. She is resentful towards her father, who she ran away from after realizing his unmistakable cruelty. Abby plays a very significant role in the story, and she will be present in every part.

(on the verge of tears) "I saw the future... I saw the Z-Move. I saw Inferno die."
(outraged, shouting) "LEAVE ME ALONE, FATHER! YOU'VE DONE ENOUGH!"
(grave, somber, brutally honest) "The damage done will be enough to kill. I'm sorry... the world is a cruel place, Chloe."
(serious, explaining in an upset tone) "That... was my father. Discord. An unapologetic Zoroark that I will never forgive."
(sobbing uncontrollably) "INFERNO! My love! Wake up! Please...!"
(flirtatious, soft) "Please... let me pass down your legacy... to a new generation..."

Inferno is Chloe's beloved Incineroar, who tragically dies due to Chloe's failure to heed Abby's words. He is eventually brought back to life by Discord, but his mind has been twisted, and he is now on Discord's side, seeking to get his revenge on Chloe.

Discord is Abby's father, an all-powerful shiny Zoroark who was experimented on by Colress; his unnatural powers are from experimentation. The overwhelming power killed him, but the combined efforts of Colress and Chloe's mom's Gourgeist brought him back to life. After escaping from the lab, Discord vowed to cause the same pain he went through to the entire cruel world, especially Colress and anyone related to him.

(sinister, amused, but slowly becoming more malicious and cruel) "'Take over the universe'? Ahahaha~! Oh, please. That's MY job. You... are NOTHING."
(outraged) "If it wasn't for that godforsaken man who called himself a scientist, then maybe I wouldn't have ended up this way! You can thank him for that!"
(tricking someone, trying to be perceived as good) "Oh, don't you worry, Winston. Your daughter will see you tomorrow."
(saddened, trying to fix something that can't be changed) "Why did you leave me, Abby? We were supposed to have it all! The universe was going to be ours, together!"

Winston is a Weavile that showed up before the events of Discordant Retribution, through one of Discord's portals. He was from another universe and was separated from his daughter, Vicky. Winston used to live a life of hunt or be hunted, and he strives to become a morally better Weavile. Winston is a fairly minor character for now, but he will be more significant towards the end of arc one, and especially in arc two.
I imagine Winston to sound a bit like Team Rocket's Meowth, but not necessarily exactly like him, if that makes sense.
(joining in on a conversation, asking) "Huh? What about me?" (emphasis on "what")
(explaining, a bit upset) "Yeah. That funky portal is what took me away from my daughter."
(saddened, remembering) "Oh, Vicky, my baby... (sigh) I wish I could see her face again..."

Colress is a Pokémon researcher from Unova, and a part of Team Plasma. He is also Chloe's father. Like Winston, Colress is a minor character in arc one, but will become more significant, especially in arc three.
Colress's headcanon voice is... well, Colress.
"Chloe? Oh, it's been so long! I've missed you!"
"I am still busy with work in Unova, but I'm going to make sure to visit you and your mother whenever I can. ...Ah, speaking of Unova... would you like to tell her, sweetheart?"

Subject, formerly known as Gloria, is a Gourgeist that has vowed to be Discord's faithful servant. She used to belong to Chloe's mom, and she helped bring Discord back to life with Colress. However, she gave up the life she knew to join Discord and assist with his plans. She will be in all four arcs, but she plays a fairly minor role in the overall story.
Gloria's headcanon voice is Circus Baby, from Five Nights At Freddy's.

Chloe's mom is very sweet and loving. She only shows up in the first arc though, so there's not much else to be said other than that.

Olivia is the rock-type Kahuna of Alola, and a member of the Elite Four. However, this "Olivia" is not the original Olivia; it is actually Discord in disguise. She will only be in arc one, similar to Chloe's mom.
