Dinner with the King
Project Overview
To sum it up, this is an animation adaption of a fanfiction, and takes place one thousand years before canon, when Sombra ruled the Crystal Empire. Six ponies are invited to eat with him at the last day of every month, and only one ever comes back. They are dehumanised and their names removed: they are referred to as Guest Number One, Two, Three, Four, Five, and Six. It takes place from the perspective of Guest Number Five, and features death and gore.
No reference images for the characters, because I've never been one to make them. They're messy but efficient. Having Discord is recommended so that we can be in contact.

This is the main character: everything happens from his perspective. You can go crazy to a large degree, on the age and accent and what he sounds like. He's more of an empathetic and selfless character.
And here comes the glass. Or the poison or the blades or the who-knows-what.
If I can't save an Empire from a King, maybe a single life will be enough.
If I don't eat, I fall. And you go home to your son. I can live with that. I can die with that, too.
Probably the one with the most lines. He's the one that has invited the rest of the cast to come to their probable dooms like a beat toying with his toys. The accent doesn't matter at all as long as you try to steer clear from the Season 9 voice of him, and neither does the age, as long as he's not too young sounding.
Please. Be seated.
While everyone else is enjoying their meal, you only sit and shake. You are being rather impolite. Especially while your King is being so generous.
And all I ask is that you eat.
One of the guests: her and Five develop a friendly relationship throughout the story's progression. She remains an elderly and maternal figure.
I'm happy it's going to be you.
[MORE THAN SHOCKED] What are you doing? Please don't do that.
This is really good.
A burly and strong stallion determined to survive. He has a clear path in mind, and is not one to back down or feel fear. He is strong and unwavering in his bid for survival.
Oddly that doesn't fill me with much hope.

I'm sorry about this.
As determined to survive as Guest Number Four, only without the brashness. He knows what his life is going to, and he will make his own future. He's confident in his own ability to forge his own destiny.
[BREATHLESSLY] That's fine!
If I'm going to die tonight, then it's going to be from my own accord, not yours.
So take this whole meal...and eat it yourself.
