Project Overview
ABOUT DIMENSION SPLIT:
Dimension Split is a webcomic I'm making! After the almost fatal event known as The Split, where Earth was almost destroyed but instead fractured into a countless amount of worlds, a group of researches (August Enlod, Stoyan Creative, Laurence Brown, and Eli Wyatt) discover a preserved body covered in the same mysterious black substance that appeared during The Split. As the investigate, they uncover a web of truths, lies, and tragedies. From a figure tied to the event, secrets piling up, to the presence of something far more dangerous than they imagined.
WHAT THE CASTING PAGE IS FOR:
I plan to post small parts of the webcomic as animations (or just dubs, still considering) on social medias as a way to promote the webcomic. Because of that, I need a few voices for the characters!
READ BEFORE SUBMITTING:
Expect to get your lines a bit later. The webcomic is currently in it's drawing phase and I'm still considering on if I should send the VA's the script before the panels get made or after.
ALSO! If you get the role and do the lines, you may be messaged in the future to do more lines of them as all of these are important characters. (It's fine if you don't want to do more lines as well, just putting this here so people who get accepted know this may happen.)

Personality: August is very passionate about researching The Split. He's very curious and often jumps head first in dangerous situations for something new they can find about The Split. He's friendly and optimistic, but doesn't think thinks through which can create tension between others.
I get that you’re obsessed with this, so am I, but if you don’t sleep how are we going to get correct results? (Caring)
There has to be an answer though! It had to have been man made. If there was an answer to who or how it happened, it’s on this planet. (A bit angry)

Age: 36 years old.
Personality: Stoyan is pragmatic and takes awhile to trust others and is very cautious with anyone or anything new. He can become protective and distraught when something bad happens. Most of the time though, he's calm and sometimes says a joke.
Geez, how cheap was this, Aug? Are there ghosts here? It would explain how you got it.

Personality: Laurence wants things to make sense. He's anxious and can overthink things or be in suspicion easily when something is slightly off. He's obsessed about The Split, but not as much as Eli or August. He tries to help as much as he can, whether it's for researching The Split or a way to fund it.
Laurence Brown? W-we talked online a few times? You said a few days ago you were looking for help. S-…so I went to your place, but your mom said you were here. (Nervous)
I’ll do it anyway. If I’m fine, it means we can do research early tomorrow morning! (Happy)

Personality: Eli is VERY obsessed over The Split. Tried to figure out the substance from The Split before but failed, and now trying again with the help of August. He's curious, willing to take risks for answers, and documents any information he finds about The Split.
No. I will stay up all night studying this thing. I’ve been so obsessed over The Split, this is all I wanted! It’s like Christmas morning for me! (Excited)
I’ve tried finding a way out of this maze I call an obsession, but when I think I’ve found the exit, I only stumble into a dead end, having to retrace my steps and try again. (Somewhat upset, demotivated)

Personality: Rue is emotionally broken, tired, and plagued with loss and guilt. He's deeply affected by consequences of his past decisions. He wants to do good, but carries a weight of regret and loss. Now, he's in a coma like state. Not alive, but not dead.

Personality: He knows a bit more about the split than August and the others. He steals, modifies, and uses illegal technology to figure out The Split and use it to his advantage. He's often serious, but sometimes makes fun of August or makes a little joke. He's mysterious, nobody knows much about him.
Ugh… those landlord bastards thought this place was abandoned didn’t they? W-well, it WAS, but ugh. (A little scared, mostly angry but trying to remain calm)
There was some guy that used to have one. I stole it from them one day. I took the thing apart to see how most of it worked and made a decent way to track more of the substance. Didn’t bother to know who they were or cared. Just wanted to snatch the goods! (Joking, but serious)
