Project Overview
Dexter Is Alive.
After the last entry of Jeff Lindsay's book "Dexter Is Dead", Dexter Morgan is presumed deceased, only in truth to have ran away a lengthy-distance ending up in Colorado to start a new life.
This project is completely made out of my passion and love for Dexter. I've watched all eight-seasons of the Original SHOWTIME Series and followed closely behind Dexter Resurrection's episodic releases! I've been through a lot with Dexter and it's probably one of my FAVORITE shows other than BoJack Horseman and Breaking Bad (maybe How To Sell Drugs Online too???)
I'm ƧHⱯDY and I'm a co-owner of Paix Entertainment which owns the sub-studio "WINONA Studios" which is well...the studio this project is being worked on!
First of all this project is unpaid, for now at least. Though if we ever do get monetized I'd be more than happy to give you the money you guys deserve!
This is all being done using the engine of "Roblox". With most of the teleplay already filmed and in process for editing.
REQUIREMENTS AND THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- Clear audio.
- State your name and anything I might want to know about you.
- This project contains dark subject matter, I mean it's a Dexter fan-series for godsake of course we're gonna have him killing predators and unhinged serial-killers!
- So just for safety measure, be over 18 if you're auditioning for a character over 18. If I'm looking for a kid voice then I'll do it another way and/or specify I want one-- (Though not sure if kids should even be on CCC lmfao.)
- Do let me know when something comes up, your shit matters way more than mine. Just give me a little text if you have to do something else for a while.
- If you're that Alfred guy that does the "comin' atcha" thing can you do that for me? I'm your biggest fan dude!
My discord is ld_shady and i'm a lot more comfortable texting there but I do prefer google drives or emails whenever getting actual audio from you guys. I can give you my email but that's something I'll be doing after your auditions probably.

Dexter Morgan, Now under the alias of "Eddie Lambert" is troubled with finding adjustment in his new life as said "Eddie" and how different Colorado is compared to Miami. He is awkward but charming and that part of him is a lot more cheek-boned in this iteration.
Age range: Mid-Thirties to Early-Forties.
I'm not exactly looking for a copy of Micheal C. Hall's performance, I'm very much open to newer and fun takes on how Dexter can sound like! I'm really looking for some nasal kind of, not too much though!

(INTRIGUED.) "H-how does he do it? How does the killer get rid of the blood!?"
(Cheerful.) "Hey no blood! No trabaho!"
(Focused.) "Well, this hallmark looking couple didn't die to a professional, nope. This is...childs-play. Messy work all that blood on the wall? Looks like a finger-painting."
Now this is the fun part. With Dexter's voice whenever he's killing or doing an innermonologue I describe it as "gravelly" and have a lot more grit than what he has whenever hes speaking to someone normally on a day-to-day basis.
In a way it's hypnotizing, like once you hearhim you can't help but just be scared. The gravel in the voice can be compared to like actual gravel in where you can't really predict if you slip (or am i thinking about sand? i dont know just picture yourself climbing a sand-hill and you'll know what I mean.)
He's like on the edge, he can't hold in that killing urge anymore so its kinda like he's finally replenishing, like he's been waiting for this moment.

(Yelling.) "OPEN YOUR EYES AND LOOK AT WHAT YOU DID!"

Katherine Monroe is the confident but extremely insecure Lieutenant of Homicide. She's definitely got some nasal and on a higher-pitch. She's both visually and auditorially inspired by Britney Rae Carerra https://m.imdb.com/name/nm7334372/. Don't ask me if I found her on instagram, I'll bash my head into my monitor.
Katherine is in her late-twenties.
She is also kind of Dexter's love interest?
That's pretty much it, kind of a voice-match to Britney but if you think you can do the job but don't sound anything like her at all I'm free to other renditions!

"I know this might impede all of your work but...do you think you can dig up any other graves and see if theres a corpse under there?"
Robyn Rowans is an edgy eleventh-grader fascinated by serial-killers in a hatred kind of way. So fascinated in fact she had to take the law into her own hands and became internet sleuth "M3000". Her character is inspired by Emma Myers visually and auditorially but also takes some qualities from a character Emma portrays; "Pippa Fitz-Amobi". Qualities as in both doing detective work by the way.
I need someone sarcastic, witty, almost just likeable no matter what! As long as you're that and you're able to come off as a teenaged girl with a lot of issues then you're basically good to go and audition mate.
"Come on dude, Bounty-hunters are way cooler."
(Sarcastic.) "You know at this point, I'd be doing the killings myself!"
"Poor woman went missing days ago. Looking for a 'Whitney Jackson'. That means we got a fresh case baby!"
Bernard Elan is Robyn Rowan's partner-in-crime and ride or die. He's edgy much like his bestfriend but just a bit more wimpy and awkward. He's inspired by Penn Badgley visually but really that matters as much as you want it to.
I just need you to also be likeable and come off as a teenager, thats pretty much the bare minimium for this role.
(Cheekily.) "Simple reminder on your star-wars phase, Jedi-Master Robyn!--"
(Optimistic.) "Hey, I'm pretty sure we can find a dead-body around here!"
(Embarassed.) "My dad made me walk, Mrs. Chase."
She's jaded, she's mean-spirited but still has stuff to care about. She's gotta have that grit in her voice but not to the point she's Rambo or something. She's the mother of Robyn Rowans and a detective of Homicide Department.
I want someone who can portray a person thats been through a lot but keeps going. She's got her whole life messed up but still wants to change that! Someone who can show they're badass but just...more than that!
Age range: Early to Mid-Forties.
"Alright Lewis, What'd you find?"
"Yeah I can see that, I can tell you didn't chop her up yourself."
"I'll talk the theory in."
Henry Bowie is one of Dexter's friends in the Pilot. He's an optimist and sees through a lot of situations with a "things will get better" mindset and sees the best in people.
Anyone around their fifties-sixties and sounds like just a polite, kind and wise old fella can have a shot at this!
P.S: There does need to have some range because Henry ultimately reveals a recent tragedy in the Pilot that's obviously a little too dark to talk about normally.

Anthony is also the Pilot's kill for Dexter so anyone wants to get killed for doing something horrible?
"S-she was giving me those fuck-me eyes!"
"I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU!"
"WAIT WAIT, WE CAN FIGURE SOMETHING OUT!"
Just sound serious and clear and you're good.

And was unable to be put into cuffs for The Bay Harbor Butcher murders and the accusations of killing his wife “Rita Morgan”. We may never know why exactly Morgan has killed such an astronomical number putting him down in history as one of the most deadly Serial Killer in American history.'

"We were supposed to bury someone by tomorrow, and my co-worker here told me he thinks someone messed with the open-grave."
