Desperado III Video Game Casting
Project Overview
This Casting Call is exclusive to students of the CCC Education program. The roles are intended to be used as placeholders: used in the game while it is still under development and during the beta. There are no guarantees that the actor cast here will be the one used when the game is released.
Students should not attempt to contact the developers or voicedubz directly. This is a private audition and your registration to the VO class will need to be verified if cast.
The successful talent (or their guardian) will be required to sign an NDA with Voicedubz.

Inspiration: Bruce Willis, Clint Eastwood
Type: Bad-ass gunslinger with a laid back attitude and a tragic past.
Bio: Son of the legendary bounty hunter James Cooper, who died at the hands of the infamous outlaw Frank when John was young. 20 years later, a grownup John Cooper has traveled the West and become a skilled gunslinger himself. Now it is time to settle old scores and confront Frank so Cooper can finally close this chapter in his life.
Personality:
• Normal: Laid-back, cool, smart, confident, dry-humored, righteous
• When Frank is close: Tense, single-minded, reckless
(To a dead bandit he just ambushed and killed) You sure don't look like you're from the railroad company. (Looking ahead) The train ain't moving. I better find out what's going on.
(To self) Gotta work my way along the train. Let's take it slow.
(Notices McCoy being held up by two bandits. He doesn't know McCoy.) That fella with the coat...doesn't look like he's friends with these guys.
(Reactions) 1: Takes a hit. 2: Shot and dies. 3: Muffled death. 4: Throwing a knife.
Inspiration: Lee Van Cleef
Type: Cold blooded gun for hire who takes nearly any job as long as the money's right.
Bio: Doc spent his younger years studying medicine in England before he left for America at the age of 24. The moment he set foot on the New World, he was forcibly recruited to fight in the American Civil war, which he deserted after one year of service. He became a simple gun for hire and slowly built up his reputation as a reliable professional who doesn't ask too many questions.
Personality: Cold, precise, pragmatic, macabre, critical, pedantic
(planning to save the train) The bandits blocked the tunnel but I just happen to know that they have a supply of dynamite up on that plateau.
(Warning) Keep your head down! There's a guard up on that watch tower. I'll take care of him.
(To Cooper) Her name's Big Ann. She attacked four DeVitt company trains in the past month. That's why the company put a sizeable bounty on her head. Needless to say, I took the job.

Type: Going to be Bad-ass gunslinger with a laid back attitude, thinks he knows the world, hasn´t seen the real shit yet.

(he was spotted by the enemy but was saved by his father) Sorry ... I fucked up. There's lots of them down there still. Where do we go from here?
(Running from enemy) Crap, this is a dead end. (Looking)... wait! down here. I got it!
(Worried) Frank and his men are in there. It could be a trap. Let me come with you, dad!

Bio: Legendary outlaw & bounty hunter, who died at the hands of his former partner Frank. Nobody knows why the split up and why Frank killed James in the end.

• Normal: Focused, experienced, smart, dry-humored, righteous
• When Frank is mentioned: gets very silent
John, what's keeping you? Stay sharp now. Frank's men ain't joking around. I'll go ahead, you know the drill.
(His kid gets shot RX) 1: John! 2: Johnny! 3: No!
You're getting there, kid. Next time. (Sees john sad) ... Catch. (Tosses his knife to John) I wanna see you hit a target from twelve yards away. Once you do, you're ready.
She is a tall, muscular, in your face kind of woman who doesn't think twice before killing another man. She is the boss of the second tutorial.
(To her men, annoyed) What's the delay?
(To herself, in a rush) We gotta be out of here by noon. Don't want the company to get our scent.
(To Baxter who thinks they should forget the rest of the cargo and leave) Hell no! I'll show those rich bastards what happens when they try to buy me.
There are various civilians with 1 line here and there that will interact with the player as they get close to them.
(Your life was just saved) Thank you kindly, strangers!
(Desperate) Please, you have to help us!
(Informational) Please clear the tunnels. We're counting on you!
