Dengeki Daisy Manga English Dub (Episode 1)
Project Overview
I'm probably going to take my sweet, sweet time with this since I happen to be a professional procrastinator but I really want this to be a thing. I'm taking each panel from the manga and basically making it like a slide show like video. I'll be spliting each chapter into parts/episodes. Please read at least the first chapter to get an idea for context.
UPDATE: OKAY I FORGOT TO MENTION THIS SINCE IT WAS SORT OF KIND OF IMPLIED BUT THIS PROJECT IS GOING TO TAKE A VERY LOING TIME SINCE I, A HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT, HAVE A LOT GOING ON IN MY LIFE AND I DON'T KNOW WHY I'M USING CAPS LOCk. So the first episode probably won't be coming out anytime soon. I won't begin choosing the roles until this summer or fall, or even later. WOW OKAY ITS BEEN 6 MONTHS BUT I STILL GOT ZERO PROGRESS DONE. IM SORRY PEOPLE WHO AUDITIONED IN MARCH D: THIS AUDITION IS STILL OPEN AND PEOPLE WHO AUDITIONED FOREVER AGO I HOPE YOU'RE STILL ACTIVE. AS FOR THE TERU AUDITIONS, I NOTICED MOST OF YOU PROBABLY DIDN'T READ THE MANGA SINCE FOR THE SECOND PART I MENTIONED THAT SHE WAS "GRATEFUL" AND Y'ALL SEEM PRETTY CHILL AND STUFF. TERU IS A V OBNOXIOUS, OBLIVOUS, SMART COOKIE BUT FUNNY AS HELL CHARACTER AND THIS LINE IS A GREAT EXAMPLE OF IT. IF YOU GUYS WANT TO RETRY THE SECOND LINE WITH A MORE HUMOROUS TONE (AFTER READING THE MANGA HOPEFULL) THAT'D BE AWESOME!

Souichirou Kurebayashi is the deceased brother of Teru Kurebayashi. Respected and admired as a very talented computer engineer, he led a team of engineers that included Tasuku Kurosaki and Riko Onizuka (I'll add these two parts later when I need them). Little is known about him, though he has been alternately shown as comically affectionate towards his sister and those he cares about to being serious and empathetic.
Teru, here's a present (Physically weak, but pleased)

The Student Council President, an attractive girl who leads the student council to bully scholarship students like Teru and Kiyoshi and privatize school facilities and has a tendency to enter bad relationships with unsavory men.
It's your fault Kurebayashi, a Pauper like you shouldn't defy the student council. (Snobby)
EEYAGH!!!! (Gets sprayed in face with hose)
F-forget it... we're leaving!! This isn't over though. Remember that! (Running away after attacked but keeping pride)
Kiyoshi is Teru's best friend and a classmate, as well as scholarship student.
Sorry Teru, it's my fault because they found out I borrowed a book... (Guilty)
Ack wait! Teru you- OW! (Teru accidentally throws ball into Kiyoshi's face)
You should've realized yourself! (Panicked)
A 16-year-old high school student, Teru is a strong-willed and kind girl who is alone after her older brother dies. She is left only with a cell phone that her brother gave her connects her to DAISY, who becomes Teru's source of encouragement and protects her from afar with email messages and occasionally through physical acts. Despite never meeting him face-to-face, Teru has absolute trust in him (although she doesn't have romantic feelings for him).
UPDATE: It's okay if you didn't do this in your audition but if you read the manga, you would know that Teru is also kind of silly and ditzy at times so, while the first line is on serious side, if you could somehow portray her more funny side in the other two lines, that'd be great!
Dear Daisy... It's Teru. Thank you for always worrying about me. But it's okay. I'm doing fine. (Currently being bullied but it doesn't really affect her - strong)
Well, whoever it was, he saved us! Let me return your ball! (Grateful)
