Dr. W.D. Gaster's official personality in Deltarune (and Undertale) remains largely unconfirmed, but he is portrayed through his cryptic text as clinical, detached, and god-like, presenting himself as an emotionless scientist running a grand experiment.

Kris is a quiet introvert, a mischievous prankster, and an independent thinker who resents the player's control.

Susie from Deltarune starts as a rough, aggressive, and defensive bully, but evolves into a fiercely loyal, empathetic, and protective friend. Underneath her tough and sarcastic exterior, she deals with deep insecurities and a lack of a support system at home.

Deltarune is a cold-hearted, power-hungry, and ruthless tyrant who rules the Card Kingdom as the main antagonist of Chapter 1. He shows deep bitterness toward Lightners for abandoning his kind, acts as an abusive and neglectful father to Lancer, and masks his cruelty with unyielding arrogance.

Noelle Holiday from Deltarune is a warm, kind-hearted, timid, and highly intelligent teenager who struggles with assertiveness. She is characterized by her gentle demeanor, deep-seated shyness, and a tendency to suppress her own feelings to avoid conflict.

Queen from Deltarune Chapter 2 has a charismatic, eccentric, and goofily tyrannical personality. She acts like a tech-savvy internet meme queen who is dramatic, loud, and weirdly caring.

Deltarune (Chapter 3) known for his unbreakable, yet turbulent, romantic bond with his partner, Elnina. Highly self-absorbed and cocky, he frequently speaks in weather-themed or meteorological wordplay, wears dark blue glasses, and has a distinctive crescent moon-shaped head.

Deltarune Chapter 3 is overly prideful, deeply romantic, and weather-obsessed. She shares an intense, codependent bond with her partner Lanino, frequently using meteorological terms in conversation and battle.

"Eram" (the fan-named community moniker for the Shadow Mantle Holder/Nightmare boss file) displays an enigmatic, malevolent, and sadistic personality. They are characterized by a chilling familiarity toward Kris, an eagerness to provoke dark behavior, and a tendency to laugh off battle.

The Roaring Knight from Deltarune has a largely silent, smug, and ruthlessly aggressive personality. They exhibit extreme confidence, a flair for theatrical showmanship, and a chilling lack of moral remorse.

Battat, also known as Small Mike, is an anxious, obsessive, and high-strung imposter who desperately pretends to be Tenna's assistant just to keep his boss happy.

Jongler is an impostor persona rather than a distinct independent entity with a genuine profile, functioning as a costume-wearing stand-in who exhibits nervous, conspiratorial, and pacifying behavior to manage Tenna's temper. 

Jackenstein is a timid, insecure, and ultimately sweet-natured reclusive character who hides behind a tough front. He features frequent spelling mistakes in his dialogue, a fear of light, and a clumsy disposition.

In Deltarune, Asgore Dreemurr is affectionate, overly idealistic, and eager to please, yet he is also clumsy with boundaries, stuck in the past, and prone to self-neglect.

Aqua is a childish, naive, and oblivious character who treats battles and serious situations like a game. She loves to play rather than follow rules and frequently uses knives in her attacks.

Seth from Deltarune is an aspiring intellectual, tactical thinker, and bookish individual. Key traits include being highly intelligent, strategic in combat, and deeply caring toward close companions.

Yellow's personality in Deltarune is characterized by a mix of self-proclaimed cowboy bravado, an extreme fixation on enforcing justice, and deep devotion to Blue.

Blue from Deltarune presents himself as a thoughtful, kind, and polite young man who represents the trait of integrity. He speaks in a poetic tone, acts as a graceful ballerino, and displays a sneaky side when trying to avoid trouble.

Orange from the 7 Colored Flowers in Deltarune puts up a tough, hot-headed facade while secretly being insecure, sensitive, and somewhat cowardly. She has a quick temper and claims to be extremely brave, but reacts defensively when teased about her small stature.

Pink in Deltarune possesses a complex, dramatic, and irritable personality, characterized by her haughty demeanor, a tendency to be fiercely possessive, and a vocal quirk of repeating phrases three times.

Child-like. Very few lines. Their actions are played by the orchestra for the majority of the musical. Possible singing late in the musical, but this will be a very natural voice so simply demonstrate your singing ability as a child.

Toriel from Undertale is a kind, motherly, and fiercely protective character who loves baking, terrible puns, and teaching.

Napstablook is a shy introvert characterized by low self-esteem, extreme politeness, and melancholy.

The Snowdin Shopkeeper in Undertale has a friendly, easygoing, and chatty personality, showing warmth to travelers while managing her store. Semi-motherly, western twang optional. Mezzo/alto range.

Monster Kid from Undertale is energetic, clumsy, and deeply admiring of Undyne. They are defined by their innocent enthusiasm, chatty childlike demeanor, and surprising inner bravery.

High pitched and child-like

Temmies are upbeat, excitable little cat-dog things that cause mayhem in UNDERTALE with their wild, surf-rock performances that seem just as non-sequitur as they themselves are. In order to play a Temmie, focus on a higher-pitched (soprano/countertenor) range with the ability to harmonize well. More than one Tem will be cast.

Mad Dummy is portrayed as a somewhat creepy, psychotic character with a minor mobster angle at the start of his number.

A raspy/gravelly voice (tenor/baritone) with a clear grasp on singing. Very intense, and able to transition between singing and speaking/yelling at the drop of a hat. He’s not just mad, he’s MAD. Actor needs to portray this.

Undyne is a hot-blooded, fiercely passionate, and determined leader who values honor, intense action, and deep loyalty to her friends and king. Despite her aggressive and intimidating exterior as captain of the Royal Guard, she has a tender, dorkier side and cares deeply for those close to her.

Alphys is a shy introvert, highly insecure, and deeply passionate about anime. She stutters frequently, struggles with low self-esteem, and hides intense guilt and depression behind a nerdy, outwardly eager persona. 

Mettaton is a performer for the Underground who is absolutely Fabulous in every way. As he begins to perform for humans above ground, shifting all the focus onto himself as he always has, he finds his appeal slipping and his Determination to please the crowd, greater than ever before. Mettaton’s actor will need to have a strong belt and a versatile range centered around Tenor, with good control over falsetto to hit higher notes. The character exudes an air of star-power and self-projected superiority over everyone else, and needs to be equally commanding and enticing, but still able to show weakness and “humanity”.

Muffet from Undertale is a polite, greedy, and ruthless spider monster who hides a malicious and intimidating nature behind a sweet, courteous way of speaking.

Catty is a purple cat. She and her bestest friend Bratty sell literal garbage and sing about it.

Catty and Bratty have the same kind of Valley Girl voice. Go for Catty if you’d like to take the higher parts (Mezzo) on the harmonies.
