Project Overview

Hello and welcome to Beta Squad, this project is a manifestation of (me) Assassin and Longshot, the two main people who've been working on the scripts for Beta Squad. In this there may be very similar things to Red vs Blue seeing as how that is the web series that has really inspired us to do this. Due to limitations at the time we are currently doing everything in Arma 3 as of this moment, subject to change.


Little background on the world space. Takes place on the planet of New Caracas at the UNSC Firebase Delta, a base in a remote desert on the planet where our characters will get themselves into quite interesting incidents.


Our characters at this current point in time:

Gavin "Hardy" Hartgrave (V: Offsite actor) 

Peter Kretchin (NV) 

Trent "Rookie" Schitderbrians (ShitforBrains) [Shit-der-brians] (NV) 

Alex "Snowflake" Helser (NV)


All of these people are here to bring  a unique personality to the table with some minor overlapping personalities here and there.


If you would like to join this project as an actor or a body-actor then here are some requirements:

Must be 13+ years of age

Must be mature enough to handle and understand stage directions

Be able to communicate when you are and aren't available

Understand that if a lack of work is being put in you will potentially be cut from the team

Have clear microphone quality

Very little background noise and no buzzing or humming

Little to no echo (You can put up sheets around you to capture any bouncing noise)


This project will be taking place in the game of Arma 3 and later Halo:Reach when the forge and theater mode is released.

  • Thank you for all of your auditions.

    We would like to thank everyone for auditioning and providing unique takes to all of the characters. We will take some time deciding on who will be best fit for each individual character, we will DMing those of which we see fit for the character and their respective personality. Those of you who have auditioned for named characters, but didn't quite make the cut for these character will be offered the ability to join the background character crew. Trent Schitderbrians is a fresh out of boot camp rookie shiped Beta squad as a replacement, he practically knows nothing but what he was taught in boot camp and the one FTX where he was bait. Some knowledge on vehicles and how they operate.

Snowflake was given his name for the white armor he wears, he wears the white armor instead of the normal marine or tan desert armor because that is what he was issued as a medical unit. He prefers to use a shotgun simply because he cant aim.

(Personality): Kind of socially awkward, pretty knowledgeable and intelligent person with very little people skills

All sorts of accents and voice types are accepted, if you don't get accepted for one of the main characters then most likely you'll be accepted in this. Do note that you wont always be able to voice a character, as well, any female background characters will appear offscreen seeing as how Arma 3 only has male player models.
