Day Shift at Freddy’s: Sweep It Under The Rug!
Project Overview
Dayshift at Freddy’s: Sweep It Under The Rug! is a stylized fan remake of Dayshift at Freddy’s, built in GameMaker. The game will feature new interactions, a reimagined story, and a custom dual-art toggle feature allowing players to switch between the default pixel style and the classic compressed stock photo style.
I am making the intro sequence to establish a darker, atmospheric prelude before the main comedic gameplay starts. I am also looking for passionate voice talent to help breathe fresh life into these epic characters. This is a non-profit, volunteer fan project remake made by a dedicated fan, for the fans!!
Made as a gift for the DSaF community.
Role Status: Lead Role (for the Intro Segment)
Character Profile:
Dave Miller is a cynical and exhausted man driving through a heavy rainstorm. He needs a gritty and serious voice with a slight New York/East Coast accent similar to his original TTS ‘Wiseguy’ voice.
Software Needed:
You could use any high-quality recording software (Audacity, Reaper, Adobe Audition, etc.). But your final audio files must be clean, edited, and completely free of background noise!
Demo Lines:
(Bitter, exhausted, talking to himself as he drives through the storm) "What a lousy, miserable, backwater piece of trash town. I regret coming back here again."
(Sudden explosion of pure, unbridled rage. Screaming at the broken car radio while slamming his fist on the dashboard) "SHUT UP! SHUT THE HELL UP! I swear, if this radio buzzes out one more time, I will rip the wires out with my bare teeth."
(Calming down, taking a deep breath, staring eerily at the yellow rabbit mask on the passenger seat) "Tomorrow is another day."

What a lousy, miserable, backwater piece of trash town. I regret coming back here again. There isn’t even a decent kebab place for fifty miles, old sport- ugh, why did I just say that? I don’t even know anyone here.
I just need to find someone . Some clueless idiot who’s willing to take the fall while I dismantle this place.
Tomorrow is another day.
