Project Overview
Hello, hello.
I am working on a visual novel type dating game of all of my OCs. This will be playable by anyone, but as of now, its mostly intended to be seen by my friends. However, I like to think it will be enjoyable enough to be played by anyone!
Regardless.. This is going to be set in "current day," in a sense. A lot of my characters have more fantasy traits, so it's going to be an altered sort of world where those things seem normal. It's going to be an upbeat visual novel and have a lot of very dumb jokes, so don't expect anything too heartbreaking or moving. Unless you find dragons moving. I do.
When I choose people, I will be adding them to a discord server just for ease of communication! Mostly, I will be updating people with scripts, state of the novel, etc.

One of the dateable characters.
Jet is a half dragon, half human, with a whole lot of joy in his heart. He is very protective of his friends, and outwardly very kind. However, he can be very terrifying, because he is, well.. a 6'8 monster man. Despite how kind he is, he always manages to say something slightly off putting. Dumb as rocks at the worst of times but somehow pulls through when it matters most.. or when you least expect it.
Has a very warm voice, though is loud and boisterous.
He is technically supposed to be Australian.. But I'll take any accent you got :)

(excited) I didn't know you got an invite! Oh, this party is about to be FANTASTIC! (pause) What do you mean it's not a party? Five people can make a party!
(apologetic) Am I being too much? I know I get loud, and.. people are probably intimidated me. I can leave, if you - Oh. (relieved) Okay. I'll stay then. Glad I'm not too scary.
(bashful) When you say things like that I can't tell if you mean it, and it's so frustrating because I - I really wish we could be together.

Sweet, kind, and always happy to help. But she is not afraid to call you out if you do her wrong.
Petal is a tiefling! She's gone through a lot in her life, and has learned to stand up for herself throughout the years, even if it means losing people she thought were friends.
She spends a lot of time crafting, so much so that she often loses track of time... But somehow, she always manages to be places right on time. "I'll be there" meme type.
I don't have a specific type of voice in mind! I was thinking something soft and sweet, but honestly, surprise me. Whatever you think matches the character. Make bold choices. Go crazy.

(overwhelmed) I'm sorry, I really messed this up.. No, no, this is on me. I should've known.
(soft) I didn't know you felt that way. I.. I think.. I think I feel the same. (smiling) The stars sure are pretty tonight. Want to watch them with me?
Voice Actor
Cold and collected at most times. However, she has a very short temper, and can snap at any moment. This tends to only be around those she is close to, however! She comes from money and is used to being around people that annoy her, especially at events.
She does have a tendency to talk down to people, but will quickly correct herself when it is pointed out.. most of the time. VERY competitive, and wants to prove she is the best, even if she won't come out and say that.
I'm hoping for a regal, low feminine voice. She is a fighter, so an edge to the voice would be good too! But feel free to take creative liberties and have fun. :)

(stern) You are late. I cannot imagine how you managed to sleep in past eleven.. Do you not have anything to do?
(Annoyed) You keep telling me I'm being rude, but you refuse to elaborate on what I am saying that is specifically the problem. Maybe you just need to get tougher, or - (pause. A little apologetic) I think I see the problem.
(taken aback) Do you really mean that? I'm not.. gentle like other people. I cannot be your first choice in.. anything.

In his original source, he is a pirate captain! But for now he's just some regular dude. :)
Can never seem to find his shirt, but has time to do his hair and put on all those accessories. It's a miracle.
Really though he's a great guy. Really happy to be wherever he is, and excited to meet new people and make new friends. He has trust issues and tends to not disclose a lot of details about himself until he is absolutely certain he can trust another person which takes a very, very long time.
Basically like a Golden Retriever but if the Golden Retriever was really scared of thunderstorms.
Hoping for a deeper booming voice but I'm happy with whatever interpretation you might have.

(Greeting, warm) Hey hey! Look who finally showed up. I can't wait to hear about whatever excellent escapade you had to be going through this morning to be this late.
(frowning) I guess I never really thought about that. I know so much about you, but.. you've barely even heard about my life. I'm really sorry. It's just.. So hard. But I think I can trust you.
(smiling softly, looking at the sky) Fireworks. I used to hate these things. But with you here.. They don't seem too bad anymore. Thank you. For everything.
