Danganronpa: Outcasters is a fan-story based on the Danganronpa series.

Plot:

Nowadays, everyone in the world is an Ultimate, meaning someone with an incredible ability or talent in a particular field.

This is what defines people, and if you want to become a doctor, a lawyer, a teacher, etc., you must first pass the test.

Usually, when a child completes middle school, they are asked to take an online test by the government, which then allows them to become an Ultimate based on their tastes and abilities.

Let's just say it's a moment in life that everyone goes through, and it's mandatory to ensure a future.

However, not everyone has simple talents that allows a smooth future, which is why there's a renowned high school where all those with unusual Ultimates are sent.

Many despise it, calling it the "school of outcasts," as if it were a mental institution where the insane are locked up, when in reality it's not like that.

It's a place where even those with bizarre talents can still excel, and where teachers guide them toward the world of work.

It would be strange if, for example, an Ultimate Drug Dealer attended a random high school for the talented, right?
