Danganronpa: Monoinu's Manor of Misery
Project Overview
Monoinu's Manor of Misery is a Danganronpa fan-project that will be released as a video series on YouTube!
The story follows the Ultimate Detective, Kagame Kentaro, into a strange mansion, where she and her twin brother meet 14 others who are told the same thing as them: they are in a killing game. People must keep their wits about them, lest they descend into madness, give in to the accursed song of the game, and allow themselves to end another's life.
(Note: Everyone involved in this project must be 16 years old or older to apply! You will be automatically rejected if you are not at least 16 when the deadline arrives. No exceptions to this rule will be permitted.)

Voice Actor
Kagame (kuh-GAHM-may ken-TAR-oh) is the protagonist! She's very kind and friendly, though also very meticulous and detail-focused. Befitting her ultimate, Kagame is an ace detective, able to crack cases that stump detectives much older than her.
Kagame is 18 years old, uses she/her pronouns, and is 5'8". A high-mid voice is preferred for her, and the accent is American, though others won't be turned down if they are better suited for the role.

Voice Actor
Kairi (KY-ree ken-TAR-oh) is Kagame's twin brother. A master of debate, winning an argument against Kairi is quite difficult. He struggles to express his emotions in a healthy manner, and he comes across as a control freak.
Kairi is 18 years old, uses he/him pronouns, and is 5'8". His voice is a mid tone, and an American accent is recommended.

Voice Actor
Despite his imposing size, Chiro (hy-hah-CHEE-ro hah-ZOO-key) is a normal teenage boy who also happens to be the Ultimate Therapist. Owing to this talent, he is empathetic and kind, able to sympathize with basically anyone, and always looking at the bright side.
Chiro is 15 years old, uses he/him pronouns, and is 6'5". His voice is mid tone, and some of his speech mannerisms reveal that he's truthfully still a teenager. An American accent is preferred.

Akatsuki (ahk-at-SOO-kee ee-NO-way) is rather pessimistic, always believing that if there's a "worst outcome", he's going to run into it. He does not seem to be afraid of dying, as he will openly admit that, should he commit a murder in the game, he will eagerly confess.
Akatsuki is 18 years old, uses he/they pronouns, and is 5'7". His voice is rather deep, bordering on slightly gravelly, due to smoke inhalation from the fires he's started.

Ren's (ren foo-jee-SHEE-ro) Ultimate is unknown, due to an unwillingness on his part to disclose it, believing his talent is not relevant information. Despite his rough-looking exterior, Ren is very fatherly and caring, doing his best to ensure the younger participants of the killing game are okay.
Ren is 37 years old, uses he/him pronouns, and is 6'3". His voice is rather deep and gravelly, a trait he picked up from years of smoking.

Goichi (go-EECH-ee shee-g(not j)en-NO-boo) is arrogant, obnoxious, aggressive, and vulgar, usually using swear words as punctuation and threatening to shoot anyone who looks at them in a way they dislike. Under this surface, however, they are actually quite adept at debate, able to easily turn the tides in their favor.
Goichi is 21 years old, uses all pronouns without preference, and is 5'9". Their voice is rather masculine, and they have a slight Southern American accent. They regularly yell whatever they may be saying, so being able to both yell and swear is a requirement for this character.

Tamaki (tah-mah-KEY go-EHR-oh) is rather passionate about the ideals of hope, though she will calm down and back off if asked. She's bubbly and friendly, and isn't afraid to talk to anyone who may capture her interest. However, she's not a pushover, and will not take people being rude to her.
Tamaki is 17 years old, uses she/her pronouns, and is 5'9". Her voice is mid-high and rather soft, as if she's lost her voice, though she's still audible.

Enkai (en-KAI chi-DOR-ee) is an enigma. Their behavior is very bizarre, and they don't seem to have much in the way of empathy. However, what they lack in empathy, they make up for in intelligence, being a highly successful doctor who can identify and cure multiple ailments. They can sometimes lose their focus, especially if asked about their talent.
Enkai is 25 years old, uses they/them pronouns, and is 5'5". Their voice leans towards feminine, though a masculine audition won't be turned down, and they're rather emotionless and deadpan, even in the face of death.

Yuzuki (you-zoo-KEY o-CHA) seems to have two personalities. Her friendly and cheery personality while working as a barista, and a louder and more excitable side outside of work. While she prefers to be herself, she is responsible, knowing she has a job to do.
Yuzuki is 22 years old, uses she/her pronouns, and is 5'4". Her voice is on the deeper side, and her speech patterns are meticulous and sophisticated.

Maki (ma-KEY ma-doh-KAH) is the Ultimate Thief. Scheming and sneaky, they have no issues with stealing things from people, and they are so good at it that no one knows it was them to begin with. The only person they seem to hold in any regard is Chiro, and they seem to enjoy giving everyone nicknames.
They are 16 years old, use he/she/they pronouns, and are 4'11". Their voice is rather androgynous, so both masculine and feminine auditions are welcome. There's an air of silliness to their voice and tone as well.

Gin (G(not j)in shooh-yoh) is the succinct and polite Ultimate Coroner. Though he takes no pleasure in his occupation, he's aware of the fact that it must be done. Mature and refined, Gin seems to be the most mentally stable person in the game.
Gin is 45 years old, uses he/him pronouns, and is 6'2". His voice is deep and refined, bringing his mature demeanor to the forefront.
(Surprised) I see… I am Gin Shuyo, the Ultimate Coroner, but you may call me Mr. Shuyo, Miss Kentaro.
(Concerned) Do be careful.
(Informative) With all due respect… they aren't dead.

Aiya (AYE-ah she-MAH) is the Ultimate Meteorologist. A sweet woman, though rather nervous at times, the younger people in the game find themselves going to her, as the "mother" of the group.
Aiya is 30 years old, uses she/her pronouns, and is 5'10". Her voice has an air of insecurity, maturity, and gentleness to it.

Kiko (KEY-koh matt-soo-DAH) is the Ultimate Dungeon Master. A bubbly and friendly teenage girl, she's crippled by her intense phobia of blood. Despite this, however, she oftentimes tries her best to keep people's hopes up, mostly through Dungeons and Dragons.
Kiko is 15 years old, uses she/they pronouns, and is 5'3". She's very bubbly and expressive, which should be reflected in her voice.

Mori (mor-EE sack-AH-motoh) is the Ultimate Tourist. He's a bit nerdy and geeky, and is hugely into history. He also has the desire to try, do, and see everything, even if the concept of some of it scares him. He tends to be a bit of a conspiracy theorist, finding the unexplained incredibly fascinating and wanting to uncover everything he can about it.
Mori is 28 years old, uses he/him pronouns, and is 5'8". His voice has an air of non-seriousness to it, and he's very expressive. Tone-wise, his voice is rather nasally, though not to an annoying degree.

Daichi Kenzou (die-CHI ken-ZOUH) is the arrogant Ultimate Bowler. Believing himself to be the coolest person in the world, he has no qualms with rubbing his successful bowling career in the faces of whoever decides to listen to him.
Daichi is 23 years old, uses he/him pronouns, and is 5'6". His voice is decently high-pitched, though still very masculine and abrasive.
(NOTE: Daichi deliberately misgenders Enkai. If you are not comfortable with this, it is not recommended you audition for this role.)

Vick Reese (vik reese) is the Ultimate Paranormal Investigator. Terse and awkward, she doesn't talk much, and prefers to do her job of getting readings for paranormal activity within the manor.
Vick is 20 years old, uses he/she pronouns, and is 5'11". Her voice is rather deep and masculine, though she is still recognizable as a woman.

Monoinu (Mono-EE-NU) is the host of the killing game! A sadistic and brutal force, she cares very little for the wellbeing of the players, only running the game to fulfill whatever sick fantasy she may have.
Monoinu uses he/she/it pronouns. Her voice is very animated, yet still sly and mature, with some androgyny in her voice, owed to whoever is controlling her.
(Note: We would prefer an original voice, rather than a Monokuma impression!)

- You must be able to replicate the Danganronpa style. It doesn't need to be accurate, but it does need to be close enough.
