Project Overview
Danganronpa: Knocking On Despair's Door takes place in Lockhart Hospital for the Mentally Unstable. 15 year old Shiori Yamaoka is one of these teens who gets locked up in the hospital. Students ages 14 to 22 are locked up with her. With the help of the others, Shiori plans to get them all out of the hospital, despite the risks and dangers within.

Monobun is a rabbit counterpart of Monomi, and she's the host of the killing game. Monobun is a sadistic robot, who enjoys blood , gore, and horrid. She swears quite a bit, so you must be comfortable with swearing. Monobun has a high-pitched, but not squeaky voice.
{enthusiastic} "Welcome to your new home! I hope you enjoy it!"
{annoyed} "Yes, Shiori, yes. You ARE stuck here forever!"
{sadistic} "It'sss....Punishment time~! <maniacal laughter>"
Shiori is the Ultimate Penologist. She's the protagonist of the fangan, and she's really protective over what she loves. She's really close with Kasumi, and Ayako. She has a medium-low pitched voice. Her age is 15, and her birthday is July 15th.
{annoyed} "Come on guys..Don't be picking fights all the time!"
{calm} "I'm Shiori Yamaoka. The ultimate penologist. I studies the art of crimes, and punishments."
{defensive} "D-Don't bring that up! Especially at a time like this, dumbass!"
Kasumi is 15 years old, and she's very optimistic. Her birthday is February 16th. As the ultimate mangaka, Kasumi is very passionate about her sketches and writing skills. Like Shiori, she's very protective, and defensive over who, and what she loves. She has a high pitched voice, but not too squeaky or loud.
{optimistic} "I'm Kasumi Ishibashi! The Ultimate Mangaka! I'm hoping to get along with you!"
{scared} "I don't wanna die, Shiori! I don't wanna die!"
{angry} "Leave her alone! She didn't do anything to you, so why are you picking on her?!"
Ayako is 17 years old. Her talent is Ultimate Bullet Journalist, and her birthday is December 13th. She's a very mature teen for her age, and she never backs down from a challenge. She's very assertive, and isn't afraid to speak up for herself, or others. She has a medium pitched voice, but it can go from medium-low pitched, to medium-high pitched in a matter of seconds.
{optimistic} "Heya! I'm Ayako Sakaguchi! The ultimate bullet journalist! Nice to meet you!"
{scared, and crying} "No no! Nononononono! This can't be happening! Shi...Shizuko..!"
{angry} "Just shut up! Don't even think about getting in the conversation!"
Despite being a 14 year old professional at violin, Mari is very quiet, and shy. She's the opposite of her twin sister Michi. Mari has a kind, and gentle nature, and actually gets better at communicating the more you get to know her. She has a medium-high pitched voice, but she's really quiet.
{calm, but quiet} "I'm Mari Hamada. Ultimate Violinist. I hope we get along..."
{angry, crying} "What?! I refuse to believe that my sister could be the fucking culprit! Unbelievable..."
{sad} "Michi...I'm scared. I don't wanna be here..."
Being a 14 year old professional at guitar, and bass guitar. Michi has quite a few lists of tips and tricks for any beginner at the instruments. Her birthday is June 23rd, and her twin sister is Mari. She has a medium-high pitched voice, and is very energetic and optimistic.
{optimistic} "I'm Michi Hamada! Ultimate Guitarist! Nice to meet cha!"
{comforting} "It'll be ok, Mari. I'll protect you, if that's all I can do now..."
{angry} "Hey! Leave Mari out of this! It's not her fault, you buffoon!"
Shizuko is a very mysterious girl. Not much is known about her, but what IS known about her, is her age being 16, and her birthday being October 6th. She's a very mature girl, despite her nature of occultism, and beliefs, but inside of her shell, she can be a very sweet, and kind girl. She has a medium-low pitched voice.
{calm} "My name is Shizuko Asano. Ultimate Cultist. Let's get along, shall we?"
{nonchalant} "I'd rather not talk about these kinds of things around Mari, okay?"
{calm} "Come on guys. Let's all just settle down. It wouldn't be the best choice to fight over something like this, now would it?"
Minako is a 16 year old Botanist professional. She takes care of all plants she comes across, making sure none of them die out. It's like her personality, mainly her caring, and compassion about not only plants, but also animals, and people. She's very heartwarming, and loves taking care of others. She has a medium-high pitched voice, and she has a soft-sounding voice.
{calm/happy} "I'm Minako Imamura. Ultimate Botanist. It's quite a pleasure to meet people like you!"
{soothing} "Hey..Everything will be okay. Don't let the negative stuff get to you."
{thinking} "Hmmm.. Let me think about this for a second, 'kay?"
Ayame is a famous voice actress in her city. She's very assertive-aggressive due to sociopathy, and anger issues. She gets angered easily, and has a hard time keeping friends, and allies. Her brother is Nori. She's 19 years old, and her birthday is June 5th. She has a medium-low pitched voice, but since she's the ultimate voice actress, any vocal range works for her.
{frustrated} "Fine...I'll tell you. I'm Ayame Tachibana. Ultimate Voice Actress. Leave me alone now..."
{angry} "Don't you dare call me that cutesy-ass name! I'm the Ultimate Voice Actress! Not some lame magical girl!"
{upset} "Just leave me alone! I don't need some sick idiots cheering me up!"
Sora is a certified health specialist, coming from a family of doctors, dentists, and psychiatrists. He's a very kind gentleman, who loves helping his friends. His only goal is to protect who he cares about the most. He has a medium pitched voice. His birthday is March 17th, and he is 20 years old.
{calm} "Hey. I'm Sora Nakashima. Ultimate Health Specialist. You seem perfectly healthy to me."
{angry} "This is NOT the time to joke around! You could of scared her.."
{flustered} "Heh, I know I'm brave, and all, but you are embarrassing me."
Aki is 21 years old, and his birthday is April 19th. As a security guard, his goal is to protect the innocent, and vulnerable ones. He loves his job of protection, and wishes to continue protecting others. He has a medium pitched voice.
{happy, cheerful} "I am Aki Sakata. The Ultimate Security Guard. As long as we all follow the rules, I will be more than happy to assist you."
{angry} "Hey! You! Don't hurt her! That's a strike!"
{calm, but serious} "So we just have to figure out what goes in order. Simple enough for someone like me."
Noboru has a big ego. As the ultimate actor, he's always serious about everything, and even pushes away those who care about him. Nothing else is much known about him, other than that. He has a medium-low pitched voice. He's 22, and his birthday is November 11th.
{angry} "Are you telling me I'm wrong?! Ayako, I thought we were friends!"
{flustered} "H-Hey! My talent is nothing special. It's just dumb in my opinion."
{frustrated} "Can you leave me alone please?! I'm busy!"
As a professional in psychiatry, Mikio specializes in comfort and therapy methods. From comfort food, to specific items, he can do just about anything to cheer his patient up. He has a calm and gentle nature, coming from a family of therapists, like how Sora came from a family of doctors, and dentists. Mikio has a medium-high pitched voice. He is 19, and his birthday is July 4th.
{flustered} "W-Wha..?! H-Hey! I'm not that special! I'd have to disagree with you on that."
{calm} "I can tell you need some therapy. I have experience with the art of psychiatry, so let me be your comfort buddy, m'kay?"
{soothing} "Don't worry. It'll all be okay. I promise."
Hikaru is 18 years old, and his birthday is January 26th. He is a stubborn person, but really calm, and understanding. He listens to what people have to say, but can sometimes jump to the wrong conclusion. As a game producer, he tries his best to put as much effort as he can into each, and every game. He has a medium pitched voice.
{frustrated, teasing} "Could you keep your annoying self over there, while the grown ups are talking? I would appreciate it."
{calm} "I'm Hikaru. Hikaru Miyamoto. That's about it I guess."
{suspecting} "I don't need any evidence to know it's you! You're acting suspicious, aren't you."
Known for his kind nature, and amazing interviews, Nori has a good reputation for loving his career. He's always making sure that everyone he knows has a good time too. Nothing else is much known about him, other than that, besides Ayame being his sister. He has a medium-high pitched voice. He is 21, and his birthday is March 31st.
{calm, happy} "I'm Nori Tachibana. Ultimate Interviewer. I interview people whom stand out."
{angry} "Why should I believe you?! Why, just why?!"
{happy} "Come on guys, like she said, keep on smiling!"
Masanori, as the ultimate journalist, is a stubborn 18 year old. He will always write gossip about anyone, and anything in his journal, causing the other students to find him scary, despite his calm nature. His birthday is November 28th, and he has a medium-low pitched voice.
{calm} "Hey Mina, you need help? It seems like a lot of hard work."
{flustered} "Hey! Don't sweat it! It's nothing."
{nonchalant} "Let me write this down. I wouldn't want to forget it."
As the ultimate medic, Makoto will always try to help out with injuries, illnesses, and more. He has a calm, and soft nature, and loves helping others out. The other students see him as their caretaker, and treat him with respect. He is 21 years old, and he has a medium pitched voice.
{calm, happy} "I'm Makoto Kawakami! Ultimate Medic! It's a pleasure to take care of you all!"
{scared} "W-Wait?! A killing game?! This can't be....!"
{nonchalant} "Don't worry. I'll make sure nothing happens, I promise."
