There's a wonderful school in the middle of Japan full of incredibly gifted students called "Hope's Peak Academy." Every student is considered an "Ultimate" in what they do. Every graduate is guaranteed to be successful in life.
Assuming they're not in the bottom class, that is.
The bottom 16 students are at a different campus, far away, dubbed "Hope's Weak Academy" by the rest of the students, and even faculty and administration. When the headmaster declares the termination of this branch, one student suggests holding a killing game to determine who gets to rejoin the Academy. And that's where we begin.
So guys, we did it. We reached a new fangan. Hopefully the fact that these students aren't exactly Ultimates doesn't mean the same for the project itself. This will be a video series on YouTube when it's finally completed. I hope to have a lot of fun with everyone here.
Before anybody asks: Yes, I know this idea has already been done with Assassination Classroom, but I hadn't heard the premise of it before dreaming this up, and I still haven't even finished the manga. No, everything is not completely designed yet, but I'm putting this out there now so you guys can see it. Updates will come periodically, and don't expect this deadline to be solid. If you have any other questions, feel free to shoot me a message.
Just a note to any potential voice actors who audition: rejection does not equal failure. I'm not looking for amazing talent. I'm looking for a fit to a vision. I'll try to provide a comparison voice if I can to help. So don't think of rejection as a lack of talent; it's really just being unlucky that you didn't fit. If some random person has exactly the voice I'm looking for, I will take them over the most objectively talented person, so let that be some motivation. You won't know unless you try, so don't let competition intimidate you.
Additionally, I would like applicants to answer a few questions. Don't worry, this isn't a job interview with loaded questions with "correct" and "incorrect" answers, it's just because I'm curious.

Wants to be everybody’s friend. Puts her trust in anybody, but is very naïve, innocent, and gullible. Open to deception and trusts everybody’s first word. She’d be shocked if anybody lied to her, but would quickly forgive them and pretend it ever happened. She has one horse at home who once had a brother, but that horse passed away. Koumi is saddened by this but hopes to see him again when everything in her life is said and done, and her motivation to keep going is to make sure the three of them are reunited.

Her social skills are not the greatest, and she doesn't show a lot of emotion. She tends to be quite rude, not because she’s mean, but she honestly doesn’t know how to be polite. She’s quite the curious girl and asks a lot of questions, not knowing when to stop. These questions can be particularly probing because she just doesn’t understand people. If answers aren’t given, she will not hesitate to spy on people to get the truth herself. She means no harm in doing this and doesn’t get why people see this as strange behavior.

A standoffish girl who is quick to anger. She doesn't speak much to others, but can be brave only if absolutely necessary. She is always afraid of trusting others, but she acts like she does to stop confrontation. No matter what though, some things never fail to get her to open up. Level-headed in calm situations. Wants to protect his friends. Sacrifices so others may succeed, but sometimes goes a bit overboard. In times of crisis, he puts on a calm face, but really is panicking inside. Pre-game was a bit cocky, but not overly so. Just wants to please everyone. Skeptical, sometimes to the point of paranoia.

Very scared and paranoid. Quick to assume others are lying to him. Plays the victim, not to deceive, but because he legitimately thinks he’s at fault. This stems from a car accident he had while training years ago, which made him lose all the faith he had in his own skills. The biggest pessimist of the bunch. However, when he’s around machinery he feels at home.

Asi loved his parents, and he wanted to do nothing more than please them. Unfortunately, they didn't pay much attention to him because they were worried about the "bad guys" getting them in trouble. In order to keep them safe, he trained his ass off to become a policeman. He used the law to put the "bad guys" away so the "good guys" can feel safe. However, his definitions of these terms may be a bit partial. Because of his love for his parents, he places them in the positive light, ignoring the fact that they have an important spot in the most infamous drug cartel in Japan. Asi's senses of morality and justice have stemmed from his criminal parents, so they are almost the exact opposite as one would expect a policeman to be.
Asi is shown to be quite adamant and stubborn; convinced he's always right. He searches for justice and will not tolerate negative behavior... from others. It's a different story for himself. Since he's the Ultimate Policeman, he thinks he's above the law and refuses to follow rules even he sets up. Can be cunning if needed, and a bit of a pervert. Nevertheless, safety is always a concern for him; he refuses to have other people injured under his watch.

The protective “big brother” character. He makes sure everyone around him is safe, as that is what he was trained to do. When he was younger, he saved his little sister’s life by wrestling an alligator away from her, losing his right arm in the process. Being an amputee never stopped him from helping others, though. He just sees that as a challenge he has to overcome. Rather than wallow in sadness, he uses his condition to show his dedication to the team: never giving up and never taking no for an answer.
