Project Overview
What is Danganronpa: Guilty Pleasure?
Danganronpa: Guilty Pleasure is an audio series inspired by SpikeChunsoft's Danganronpa Games. It is also inspired by other series such as Squid Game and other minor influences. The DrGP team is in no way associated with the original Danganronpa Games. This is a non profit passion project. 16 Students are locked inside a school-like environment where they soon find out from their beloved sock puppet host, they have to kill each other to escape. They have to overcome 5 trials to be set free, will they be able to face these trials and survive? Or will they succumb to the games and kill or be killed? They are there to entertain and move at the Lady's will. Can you keep our secret?
This story will deal with series and mature content. Continue at your own risk.
How far along is this project?As of June 4th, DrGP has completed the prologue script and its first chapter entire script. The prologue is currently over 12k words long. Designs for the characters are being finalized as well as the death order and the lore for the characters during each chapter is set in stone. Backgrounds, Cgs and other stuff are being worked on.
Requirements:Must be 16+ to audition for roles. Some roles will be locked for 18+.
A professional setup ISNT required, however, please have minimal to no background noise. Your mic must be able to handle screaming.
Please send your audition in MP3 or WAV.
Takes should be done in ABCABC format unless stated otherwise.

You can audition for multiple characters, however, you will NOT be casted for multiple characters.

Brief Description:
Being a bassist in an underground punk band doesnt come easy. Izako is the one usually making sure they get their stuff done and everything together. Despite being legally blind, he's been playing the bass for longer than he can remember, making him talented for what he does. Izako prefers to stay out of the spotlight and manage things on the side, if their band had a manager, he'd take the winning spot. Izako is the type of person who tries to maintain calm but ends up getting stressed out easily. He's a very fidgety person and likes things to be orderly and can come off as bossy and takes extreme measures under stress, he's easy to rile up. But when he's not riled up or stressed, he's pretty chill.

Medium to low voice. It should have a sort of panicky undertone to it while trying to keep calm. He should have a sort of slight rasp to his voice.

Any tone works, their voice should sound androgynous and slightly shaken at most times. They should sound like theyre always on edge yet at the same time a softer tone.

Riyu is laidback and straight to the point though often making jokes to lighten up the mood in certain situations. He's loyal and is the sort of person that never forgets anything he does, he owns up to his mistakes which includes petty bets he often makes with his friends, he wont give up on them unless there's a sort of time limit to them.
