Danganronpa: Copycats Resort Staff Audition (Mostly VAs)
Project Overview
Hi. I'm looking to casting the remaining voice actors for my video fanganronpa. We've already got a decent chunk of them cast, but there's still few characters that still need to be cast, and we need people for those spots. If you're interested in helping, the only requirements are...
- You have to be able to voice act at least moderately well
- You have to have a decent quality microphone (Like echo, background noise, and mics that cut out are a no-no)
- You have to join the discord server (https://discord.gg/QzNeF489e3) (This is where all updates will happen)
- You have to be able to submit lines within a deadline
I can't say when each character dies (I.E. how many lines you'll have), but if you're curious, dm me at SufferingKoala#7013 on discord and I can tell you that and any other questions you may have about the role. All auditions are welcome!

Just your standard Monokuma type character. High pitched, ominous, and fun. If you can do Monokuma, then you can do this role.
Let’s begin with a basic explanation of the class trial, so your votes will determine the results! If you can figure out “whodunnit” then only they will receive punishment! But if you pick the wrong one. Then I will punish everyone *besides* the blackened! And that person alone will be allowed to leave this resort! (Normal)

Kondo is the protagonist of our story. He shows a wide variety of emotions, but he more or less just soounds like your average protagonist, aside from maybe sounding a bit more serious.

Neisan Ango is the antagonist of the fangan. He's incredibly chaotic and loves screwing with the other members of the cast, but he also has a love for animals, and especially his pet parrot named Cow. His voice needs to be not quite annoying, but have that kinda annoying antagonist kinda vibe to it. And you gotta have a good evil laugh, it's a necessity.

Important Voice Emotions - You need almost all of them, but the most important ones are Anger, Annoyance, Being Mean, Happy, and a sorta pet voice for talking to the parrot.

Daiya's a war veteran with a very serious personality. He's been through a lot of crap as the Ultimate Fighter Pilot, and the main cast doesn't even know the half of it. His voice is sort of American, but the more important part is that it's very serious.

Owen Okamoto is a weird role to play. He's calm and collected, and has a fairly normal speaking voice, but that's only when he's sober. Owen's an alcoholic, and so he needs to also have a sort of college kid drunk voice combined with his sober calmer voice. Any accent works, but preferably Australian.

Daito is a fun character to voice. He's energetic, athletic, and a ball of fun. But, he does tend to get a bit, full of himself occasionally. His energy and overconfidence should be known nice and clear in his voice, but don't overdo it, he's not a narcissist or a 7 year old on too many juiceboxes. Any accent works.

Yen is a fairly straight-forward voice, but a difficult one nonetheless. In short, he's got the voice of a twink anime protagonist. He's emotional, confident in himself, and a little annoying. Albeit, don't make his voice really annoying. So honestly, any voice that can convey a lot of emotion, and sound both confident and scared will definitely work for this character. Any accent works.

Hisato's voice is self explanatory. He's a lazy guy with zero motivation, and so his voice is fairly monotone. But he does still show emotion, as does everyone, so don't make it too monotone. Basically any accent works with him, but don't do anything too strong.

Garvey's a more complicated one. He's really shy, but he's also really buff. His voice should sound constantly shy, but it should also have some muscle behind it. Despite being shy, he does also tend to try and lighten up the rest of the cast with confidence, so a tad bit of optimism at those times would be appreciated. Any accent works, but nothing terribly strong.

Sukoshi is important. Sukoshi's voice is also important. She has a constant shy sorta tone to her voice, but her voice never really comes off as annoying or pitchy, It should be almost soothing. She'll also get a tad emotional at times, so it's important that you'll be able to convey that in her voice. Any accent is fine, but preferably there should be no accent because you already need a shy tone for the voice.

Jurichi is a bit of a weird one to voice. She's quiet, calm, but also tends to get chatty when technology enters the conversation. Her voice is very monotone and calm, same goes for when she's chatty. But she still expresses emotion, so don't just exclude all emotion from the voice and make her a robot. A slight Russian accent would also be nice, but it's not necessary for the role

Oh it's fairly simple. All you gotta do is hook that wire to the green port, flip the blue switch, wait 5 seconds, cut the red wire... make sure the charge on the battery is still good... go back to the wire you hooked, and... you know what, I think I'll just do it (Explaining/Focused/Calm)
Uhmm... I'm not sure if cooking up a fish would be the best idea at the moment. I mean, someone just got murdered dude... Like... -erm. D-don't you wanna investigate with the rest of us? (Nervous)
Naomi is a hard voice to pull off well. And by that, I mean that she's got a short temper, and she snaps and gets angry a LOT. She's not like, angry 24/7, but she's very passionate about whatever she says. If you wanna voice her, you gotta put emotion into your voice. Any accent works.

Briggo's pretty difficult to get right. She's a nice and friendly activist until you tick her off, then your ready for an onslaught of anger and screaming. For Briggo, you'll need both. Other then that, you'll also likely need passive aggression for some lines, considering that she's angry and all that. Any accent works.

Shut up! Black Possum was a GREAT movie and you CANNOT change my mind! The story, the character development, the representation all PERFECT. It is literally my favorite movie of all time, you shut the FUCK up! (Angry)
Maggie's an interesting one to voice. She is quite possibly the definition of an introvert, being shy around other people but excited on her own and around her closest friends. So, you need to be capable of both a shy and nervous voice, and a loud and expressive one. Any accent works, but if you can, make her sound unique.

Akima is an incredibly bubbly person. She gets excited easily, and stays positive no matter the situation. This strongly reflects in her voice, which needs to be extremely happy and filled with emotion with each line. Don't overdo it on the voice though, she sounds bubbly, not annoying.

Rikona's voice, like her introduction, is pretty clear cut. You've gotta act serious, and you've gotta avoid emotion. There will be times emotions will be subtlely conveyed, but the only emotion you've really gotta worry about is anger, as she'll be pretty mad at the rest of the cast for their occassional stupid remarks. Any accent works, but preferably no accent.

The earth itself seemed to cry out in agony, until finally the ground itself split open and a horrific creature crawled from the ground, covered in mucus and tar.
”Joe Momma…” the creature whispered.
The man cried out in pain as he disintegrated into dust, and the whole world fell silent in fear.
"I did a little trolling." the wretched creature remarked before burrowing back into the earth.
The Bible is an amazing manga. Chapters 1-5 were written by this guy named Moses but for some reason the author changed around. Abram is definitely my favorite character although for some reason they retconned his name to be Abraham, and in some regional publications his name is Ibrahim. The best ship is Abram x Sarah. Also, they totally nailed the new testament chapter, with some great character development. I never expected Judas' betrayal either.

If you're an artist and you wanna help by doing art stuff, you're in luck! I'm doing most of the art for this project at the moment, but if you're just looking for a fanganronpa to do art for, then feel free to audition here.
You can specify whether you'd rather do sprite art, ui art, background art, etc with me later. I am kinda in need of a few artists because it's very hard to do everything myself.
