Danganronpa: Bleak Future is a Danganronpa fan game that will be playable

story description: green cross collage the most well known and prestigius collage for only the best of the best each year 12 ultimates are chosen to be part of green cross's anual and oh so prestiogiues ultimate class and our oh so forunate protagenist soare the ultimate pastry chef is chosen to atend in said class but what he will not expect is for his collage life not to be so pleasent as him and the 11 other ultimates selected for the anual ultimate class to be put in a killing game who can soare trust who can he not will he even make it out alive who knows even he dosent know that himself.

(changed the college's name due to me not knowing that it is a real organization that did some bad things)

Current plans for the project and some other things, and potentially common questions:

Q1. How many chapters will it have?

A1. a prologue and 4 chapters with a epilogue thats the final number.

Q2. What Engine will it use if it's gonna be a playable game?

A2. Renpy

Q3. Why only a cast of 12 Ultimates?

A3. Simple because I don't think I can personally be able go handle writing that many characters and flesh them out in time before their time plus a cast of 12 will mean I'll be able to give more time equally to everyone(hopefully).

Q4. What are some inspirations for the project?

A4. Jigokuronpa and lapse (due to both of them being well made amazing, and high quality fangans made with Ren'Py). Danganronpa antebellum lockdown (due to it showing me how well a smaller cast for a fangan can work, plus the game is amazing in it of itself, and I highly recommend playing it) and also the Danganronpa another games, since they were my first exposure to fangans.

Q5.what voice actor and other roles are open still?

A5. one female VA role is open (vanidate)

important info about the project, and also info on what will happen if you get one of the roles(I'm referring to any role, like artist or any other role) made for this project that you can join :

  1. I am a solo writer, and this is also my first time writing something on this large a scale, so criticism will always be welcome. (this project has a script writer so this point is pointless now)

  2. This will be a playable fangan using Ren'Py

  3. Don't expect a chapter release or prologue release in the near future, so if you apply for a role like artist or musician, etc, then you can expect it'll be a while before anything like the prologue actually comes out.

  4. None of the roles will be paid, and there's no deadline, so take your time as much as you need.

  5. The fangame will be free.

  6. i am not a talented or amazing writer, so I recommend not to have any expectations about my writing Obviously, I'll try my best and put in all the effort i can into this project but I'm writing this on the main page in advance Don't EXPECT AMAZING/GREAT WRITING, AS THIS IS MY FIRST TIME WRITING SOMETHING THIS BIG IN SCOPE. (this project has a script writer so again this point is nonxistant now)

  7. This is gonna be a long-term project, just so you know.

  8. The final thing, due to the current events happening in the real world, I'll say it plainly if you're not comfortable working with a fangan director(thats me, btw im talking about myself) who is israeli and Romanian, then that's fine, and I understand that as to why im putting this on the CCC page because well then its simple i want to be as open as i can while also keeping myself safe on the internet and also not make anybody uncomfortable so thats why im so open about this its like a list of ingridients on the packaging of food as a methaphorical example so to speak just so you know in advance.

  • a small update

    two new male VA slots opened up for the killing games mascots monoshi and monoru enjoy

  • alot happend heres the rundown

    first of all all we got a script writer now yay theres also a sprite artist and a coder on the team so yay also i can finally tell you all of the names of the characters and also if they have a VA

    the script and character desgins are still a work in progres tho all of the prologue is done planning wise (in terms of key events)

    also the death order is done yay so its set in stone

    now also all the minigames are planned out)

    and also all the chapter names have a name and so does the prologue so yea yay progress

    4. free time events (its a low priority but im slowly thinking of ideas for them so yea)
