Short explanation on why
Danganronpa Veritas: Panic of Despair was made as a small side project of mine, but with how much it's grown in the Discord server I decided to make a Casting Call on this site for it. This is to hopefully help reach out to other voice actors. Side note for the characters that have sprites were too big to fit onto the picture of the roles, along with the logo itself, so sorry about that. Another thing is I don't have CCC gold, so if I cannot get roles fast or some characters don't have any auditions, then I'll have to edit the deadline whenever I can
Story/Description
At Hope's Peak Academy, the school has paid for a couple of Ultimate Students to go to a famous, former Ultimate Actor's mansion of Katsuro Shimizu. However, a monotone armadillo robot that calls itself Monodillo, has taken over the mansion after the soon mysterious disappearing of Katsuro before the students arrive. Now they are trapped in a killing game filled with friendships, hope, and the turning point into despair and distrust. The theme for this fangan is it's brighter than other fangans or Danganronpa projects in terms of visuals and music.
Roles needed
Sadly there can only be 3 for each staff role and you can have two of these staff roles and still be Voice Actor. We have room for 2 more music composers, 1 more writer and artist, and 3 editors/programmers, programmers I say because I hear they are needed for visual novel type things, of course regular editing is fine as well as long as long as you can do something Danganronpa-like. These staff roles should also be team players that can work with other people calmly to come to an agreement. And you can have at least two of these staff roles while also still being a voice actor, if you're willing to put yourself out like that. Do as much as you can do while still remembering your own limits.
Of course there should be multiple voice actors for the 16 students and their headmaster. For the voice roles you can give accents as long as they relate to the character, but I don't want to give too many characters one. So if you would like you can record one with an accent and one without, however you feel comfortable. Remember that I don't want your vocal cords to hurt so do whatever feels comfortable to you that you can be able to do for a long period of time if possible. This is another place where you can submit your works if you'd like. While you're there you can also show off a little of your projects Danganronpa related or not. Of course there can be nothing related to nsfw content. And there *are* rules. This will be important for us to talk to you more and get lines from. If possible it would be great to also mention your username if they're different from each other. This server will also be where you can get role from, on here I can assign one role but you can still get a role as long as you as well dm creators and admin's your works for us to look over

Shinyuta was born just as a “regular kid” as he calls it. For him everything was normal, but was always into winter sports. Mainly because he grew up in a cold, small town he liked called a snow village. He’s naturally very casual, and calm about things and believes he will be able to get through any problem as long as he tries hard enough.
Voice: Average, still good at heart
"I'm Shinyuta Yukimura, the Ultimate Snowboarder."
“But if he lied about going, why would he put himself in risk like that?”
“No, that’s wrong!"
"I'll cut your argument in two!"
"I got it!"
“And that’s the truth of this case, Hifumi Yamada! The Ultimate Fan-Fiction Creator!”
Hotaru was born in a family business at a restaurant on a not-so-far Island. She was originally a cook before she accedently burned the kitchen. After a while she started fire spinning/waitering. Hotaru enjoyed making other people happy, so now she starts doing it practically as a job as she calls it.
Voice: An island accent with a lower or higher tone, either’s fine. In a similar way with Angie, but a little more of a bass if you choose
“Hello, I am Hotaru Nakahara, the Ultimate Fire Spinner. It’s nice to meet you.”
“Wait, but thinking about *that* standpoint, we’re implying there’s only one suspect.”
“The fire still burns!”
“You tripped up!”
People assume that Yasu is like an edgelord with him dealing with bats and such, some go as far as thinking he’s Batman. In actuality he wants to be very social, he usually doesn’t get the chance due to all the different stereotypes on bats, blood sucking vampires, scary, night demons and such. He does get shy at points because of this and have little friends. He considers the three bats he brought as some of those friends, more so his children. They’re names are Albert, Bowey, and Captain.
Voice: Soft and shy but willing to open up
“Mmmm, I’m Yasu Suzuki the Ultimate Bat Trainer. Don’t look down on me and my little ones.”
“Well we can’t say so soon. We need more discussion, more evidence.”
“I hear a flaw!”
“We fly better in the dark!”
Sakata is quick witted and resourceful, but she’s so full of herself that it’s hard for people to believe her about it. She acts like she’s the center of attention and always do dangerous stunts and managed to survive. People wonder why she’s “crazy” called by others, she sees it as she wants attention from others so that they feel wanted.
Voice: Confident, self-absorbed, can click into a different mood
“My name is Sakata Yamasaki, Ultimate Mountain Climber. Maybe you’ve heard of me?”
“So he just took the murder weapon, went to their room and stabbed them! Looks like it’s case closed here!”
“You haven’t went the distance yet!”
“You should’ve stayed quite!”
Masuyo started his career all the way back to his schools where he was called the king of the hill. He made people make different clothes for him and began what he called, “The Change.” He assembled old pals willing to get their hands dirty for him. He attempted to have other gangs join, but those who refused faced punishment. He’s not the tallest, but can make the toughest man shake in their boots.
Voice: Confident, demanding
“I am the Ultimate Dictator. Look in my eyes and see the future of this world.The future that is me! Masuyo Kita!”
“This trial is pointless! We already have the killer in our grasp! I demand you speak up before we widdle you down like a houseplant!”
“Hahaha! Foolish as always!”
“Can’t get away that easily!”
Ayako always liked layouts of different areas, houses, mansions, even carnivals. After a while she developed photographic memory, which helped her map out these places. She went on her own for a while to make houses for other people to enjoy, granted some big party companies have taken credit for some of them, but got found out anyway. A little normal, but can freak out in bad times. Other than that she is probably one of the more strong willed character.
Voice: Calm, stubborn, firm
“I am Ayako Satou. I am the Ultimate Architect. Not an interesting life, but helps get me here I guess.”
“Wait, wait! We can’t figure it out so fast! Who can we even accuse?!”
“You should’ve planned that better!”
“Let’s look at that again!”
Hayashi is easy to get from absolute focus to forgetting the last thing he said depending on his current mindset in the situation. He acts as everyone’s best friend to people he doesn’t know. Some get mad some go with it, and get along well from the first five minutes. Very social and fun to be with, but when in the right move supposedly.
Voice: Friendly, head in the clouds, can switch to serious rarely
“What’s up! I’m Hayashi Oshiro. I’m the Ultimate Pinball Wizard! Hope we get along well.”

Emi was raised in a family that were agents and spies that went out a lot for top secret missions. She decided to keep letting it run in the family without even knowing. She went on many sky missions that helped people in ways that no one will be able to understand. She did some skydiving things in her off time as well. This was something people did notice that gave her title of Ultimate Wingsuit Flyer. She seems more calm than a couple of the others, but still is determined to leave and get back to her real job.
Voice: Somewhat average, a little secretive, make your own
“Well, name’s Emi Mizushima, the Ultimate Wingsuit Flyer.”
“I don’t deny the killer could’ve just threw it in and left like that, but there’s something that doesn’t add up here.”
“Coming in for a landing!”
“We’re moving down!”
Tarou was raised on a farm for a small while because his parents thought he needed air for a bit. He lived with his Uncle and Aunt for a while and while there he ended up getting his talent for training animals. His first animal was an Ox that went out of hand outside the farm while he was getting supplies. To everyone’s surprise he managed to calm them down and took them back to the farm. After that he noticed he was a magnet for animals all over. He could’ve been called the Ultimate Animal Trainer, Tamer, or something of the other. He chose Ox Tamer ‘cause it was his specialty and his first.
Voice: Monotone, strong
“I am Tarou Ueno, the Ultimate Ox Tamer.”
“If I may, how would they just, leave it there? Wouldn’t that just reveal who they were?”
“Calm down, little guy.”
“No need to be afraid.”
Takako is very interested with going outside and playing with sheep, she hung out a lot with other “cute” animals as she says. She finds it harder to hang out and have fun with the rest of her peers, seeing that they’re not as fascinating as smaller animals, the only one she *does* feel like they can be with and tolerate is Tarou. They both like a lot of the same things so both of them see it as a brother sister relationship.
Voice: Small, energetic
“My name is Takako Komiro, I am the Ultimate Shepherd. If you want I’m pretty open to talking. Kinda at least.”
“I’m not sure about it all, could it really work out in that order?”
“Heed there!”
“No need to go wild!”
Osamu is like a kid who’s always in their dinosaur phase, he just made a living out of it even he’s surprised about it all. Sometimes he can also come out as rude or self absorbed, but really he wants to just hang out and see dinosaurs. This character is more of a make your own kind of voice, so literally anyone could be this role.
Voice: Childish, make your own
“Hey, name’s Osamu Inoue. I’m the Ultimate Archeologist. How’s it going?”
“Alright, then tell me this: Why not get rid of the body?”
“I’ll dig up some logic!”
“Let’s unearth an idea!”
Kyou lives on the more wild side and fast with actions. She thinks of herself as some wild stallion racing for adventure passing all the other horses. She doesn’t have many regrets for most things she’s done, and she’s proud of the things other people wouldn’t do at all, she doesn’t say most of those things though. She also tends to be very loud about a lot of things.
Voice: Intense, make your own
“Hey man! I’m Kyou Takenaka, the Ultimate Racer! Yeah, the one and only baby!”
“Oh sure! Really making a difference with that argument pal!”
“Just go to your pit crew buddy!”
“Here I come to the finish line!”
Reina is not what everyone expects when they think of an Ultimate Oracle. He’s quick, nervous, and not afraid to take action in the name of his great spirit that guides his knowledge. He can still be cool, but might also freak out when people don’t listen to him or doubt his words. (I saw quick but for the audition take it a little slow)
Voice: Informative, nervous
“I am Reina Kirin, the Ultimate Oracle, my great spirit and I wish you hello.”
“I am being told that the killer was the first to walk into the room.”
“Your spirit is wrong!”
“I shall speak the truth!”
Kotone is sometimes quite and mysterious, but when you talk to them they seem more like a helpful, but intense, helper or mother-like figure. She always has a satchel with tools and such in it in case she needs to help someone last minute and sudden around. She uses her skills to support her other classmates and calm them down in stressful situations for those who can’t as easily as the others, most often Michi Matsouka (Ultimate Sci-Fi Writer).
Voice: Mysterious, responsible
“I am Kotone Watanabe. I am the Ultimate Hypnotherapist. I help those who are in need.”
“No, I made sure that they wouldn’t be able of such a thing.”
“You will not continue this!”
“Forget what you thought!”
Michi is a writer for multiple different shows and movies, but sci-fi subjects when he gets to let loose and go nuts with his ideas. He has written so many different stories with well produced groups that in most movies he fears his own creations. He’s up most nights afraid of his stories and keep making what he fears. People adore him in what he does, but his friends just see him as a paranoid homeless man.
Voice: Frantic, paranoid
“I’m Michi Matsouka, the Ultimate Sci-Fi Writer! Space is a little something I get crazy about, figuratively, and just might literally.”
“Ahhhh! We’re gonna die here aren’t we?!”
“Let’s take that to the table’s!”
“We can do better!”
Koe was always a smart kid who excelled in all fields of science, one mainly being chemistry. She loved the idea of taking chemicals and/or other minerals to make something only the future can determine, or at least that’s the way she sees it in her head. Some people like saying she’s a mad scientist with all the things she’s made and said, leaving some to distrust at points. Koe plays as the more vulgar one of the group, but not wanting to do anything with them, just as teasing. She could also be more self absorbed and won’t help unless given good reason to.

“Like I would make anything for anyone of you guys!”

An Armadillo Monobot with more sass than the original. This is the one who took over the mansion the students are trapped in, the monobot that's working for the mastermind. They don't find any reason to speak about most things, other than little information about the mastermind and other important things like stuff around the mansion that shouldn't be touched or messed with.
Voice: Monokuma like, sassy
“Hello wonderful students of Hope’s Peak! I am the amazing, Monodillo! *Your* headmaster!”
“It is now 7am, and night time is officially over. Get ready to greet another beeeutiful day!”
“Let’s begin with a basic explanation of the class trial. Your votes will determine the results.”
“Hold it right there!”
“So you wanna argue, huh?!”
(3 open for this role) These will be the people putting together the visuals and putting together the audio clips to give the watchers a great Danganronpa experience. These people should work together to come to a decision that will make everyone happy. Of course you'll have to make sure the creator has to go over it first before making it official.
Say something you think would fit
(2 open for this role) These will be the people helping to bring up the uneasiness or joyful tones of this fangan. It's fine if these three have different styles, just as long as you don't just sit back and let everyone else do something. Three things prefered for this audition is Mr. Monokuma's lesson or Beautiful Lie, the Investigation music, and Closing Argument. You can also do other classic Danganronpa track remixes, these are just options you can have in case you were wondering what you want to do.

(1 open for this role) These people are going to help out with story points, Daily Life, Class Trials, all of that. If wanting to go for this role your work can either be dramatic or comedic/slice of life related, whatever you want us to see. Know that writing this you might have to be adaptable to different things, like if a writer got new information then they would be able to put that in the story. It's not a guarantee that it will happen, but it might be out of the blue. The overall tone of the writing for this fangan will also be lighter but still with the classic twists of murder, despair. It's important that you have time on your hands for writing sessions with the other writers and admins. This is a big part of a writer.

(1 open for this role) These are the people that will be working on sprites, cg's and backgrounds. This will be hard for replicating styles, however cg's and backgrounds would be the most helpful, it would be nice if you gave some sprites as well, though. Cg's refer to special events in the story such as Kaede getting her nails painted, and body discovery (you know those will be "fun"). Backgrounds will be simple things like little bits in a hallways and sections of rooms, including class trials.
