Future Foundation member Yasuhiro Hagakure is sent to rescue any captives located with Towa City. seeing this a way to pay off his massive debts Hiro strays from the mission and beings to loot the city. while on his raid he is attacked by The Warriors of Hope and their Monokuma army begin to attack. during the Attack Hiro is Saved By Kanon Nakajima and the duo decide to escape the city together.

One of the Six survoiurs of the Hope's Peak Academy Killing School Life and a member of Future Foundation: an organazintion with the goal of returning the world back to it's orginal state before the Ultimate Despair that plunged it into chaos and ruin.
Hiro is one of the more cheery, laid-back students. However though, he is very gullible and prone to panic, and slightly slow in the head, Hiro also tends to talk absurdly. Though he can tend to quickly act out on emotion rather than reason, he does take accountability for his actions and accepts the consequences that may come with them.
Hiro went to Towa City along with the other members of the Future Foundation to seacrh for surviours after recieveing an annomys tip off, His real goal was in fact to loot the town in order to resolve his eight million yen debt. While trying to take a precious object, the Monokumas begin to attack. during the Attack Hiro is Saved By Kanon Nakajima and the duo decide to escape the city together.

Kanon Acts like a sterotypical model who is stuck in the 90s, is rather lustful, perverted, and appears to be rather self conscious about herself, dressing up really flashy and looking pretty to make herself feel better. Kanon is Leon's younger cousin by two years. The two are implied to have a sibling-like bond since childhood,she is very devoted to Leon, to the point of obsession. She loves him more than anything, saying that he is her world. When she finds out that Leon has died due to the members of the Future Foundation, she swears to take revenge. Even after his death, she loves him, and whispers his name in her sleep. Kanon was chosen as Leon's hostage during the School Life of Mutual Killing, meaning that she was extremely important to him, more than anyone else in the world.
After saving Hagkure from a monokuma attack she decides to travel with him in an attempt to escape the city.

Kotoko is the leader of the "Fighter" class amongst the Warriors of Hope. The Warriors of Hope are a group of children who claim their goal is to rid Towa City of adults and then turn it into a "paradise for kids" as they envision it through a game they call Demon Hunting.
Kotoko is a hot-headed girl who loves "adorbs" things.while Kotoko acts cheerful and happy most of the time she can actually be quite mean and cruel.
Due to her trauma caused by sexual abuse, Kotoko triggers to the word "gentle" as the men who abused her had said they would be "gentle". When she hears this word, she becomes neurotic, and begins crying and screaming in fear, unable to calm herself down except when somebody tells her that they will not be gentle with her. it has left her so unhinged to the point that she takes a sick enjoyment in inflicting the same kind treatment that people had done to her upon what she refers to as "Cute Female Demons" prior to killing them.
Kanon just happens to be on Her Kill List.

Masaru is a cheerful showoff and seems to be the one who has a more goofy outlook on life. He is extremely energetic and constantly brags about his role as a Hero and leader of the Warriors of Hopes, despite the circumstances of how he became "leader" (winning in Rock, Paper, Scissors).He is naughty and mischievous in nature. He likes to boss around others due to his role as the leader and seems to enjoy pranks
