Project Overview
Danganronpa is a very cool series, but wouldn’t it be cooler if it were underwater? The answer is yes! In Danganronpa: A Cycle Of Despair, Megumi Wakabayashi and her 15 classmates must escape the now submerged Hope’s Peak Academy. Megumi is hopeful, strong-willed, and a fantastic archer, but will that be enough to fight against Monokyro’s overwhelming despair? PLEASE READ BEFORE AUDITIONING
The bulk of the work for this project is done on our Discord server so, please be active on Discord and put your username in the description of your audition.
This is a pretty casual work environment. We like having fun, but we also know when to get to business. Have fun and be yourself, but if you're cast, we ask that you respond to DMs, give us updates on your progress, and get your work done.
Make sure you're comfortable with swearing if you audition to be a voice actor. Of course, we're not going to make you say slurs. Just the potentially the standard piss, shit, ass, bastard, fuck, etc. Hell, your character might not even have to swear at all.
This will be a long-term project, so be sure you can make that commitment before you audition.

Megumi's voice is that of a teenager, she is the main protagonist of this series, the Ultimate Archer. She is very passionate and caring around others and has a very questioning-like demeanor. Megumi has a medium-high ranged voice.
Line 1(Welcoming): Hello! I'm Megumi Wakabayashi, the Ultimate Archer!
Line 2 (Stating): Huh? That's wrong though.
Line 3 (Shocked): N-no way... She really did it...
She’s loud, determined and loves a good challenge. She is often harsh and blunt to people she meets for the first time, which makes it hard for her to gain friends. She’s slightly more of a “Tsundere” at first, but once someone becomes her friend, she will see them more as a little sibling and someone to protect but also become more chill and casual around others... She’s also easily bribed with compliments and can be slightly naive at times. Mid-high voice range.
Line 1 (Interested): Well, that calm guy’s idea seems pretty reasonable actually… we'll get to see how dumb this bear is.
Line 2: Let’s do this! I’m Runa Ishiwari, the Ultimate Racer. I’m only here because that Akahaha lady smells like cupcakes.
Line 3 (Conserved): Those sound like some dangerous talents. I think my talent could be dangerous too if that bear-thing didn’t take my car.
Around others, Yumiko is a normally bubbly yet outgoing person. But when she’s alone she’s a bit self-deprecating and will find herself doubting her own lifestyle. She’s dependent on reassurance from others. Mid-high voice range.
Line 1 (Welcoming): Oh, hello there. We were just looking for medical supplies. Having some could be useful in this situation.
Line 2 (Warm, smiling): My name is Yumiko Sazama. I am the Ultimate Chemist. It is wonderful to meet you.
Line 3 (Uneasy, reassuring): I'm sure it's nothing. We're all good, amirite?
