WORLD OVERVIEW — Dennis & Troy
The world is a fragmented, unstable multiverse with no central reality.
Dimensions shift constantly and often without control, as if reality itself is breaking apart.
HOW THE UNIVERSES WORK
Each dimension follows its own internal logic, often contradicting what we know as real.
Examples:
Looping or collapsing spaces
Environments shaped by emotion
Inconsistent or absent time
Worlds built around a single extreme idea or fear
These worlds are not explained.
They are experienced.
CORE RULE: INSTABILITY
Nothing is reliable.
Environments can change suddenly
Paths may lead nowhere or somewhere else
Safe spaces can become dangerous
Understanding a world does not guarantee survival.
THE HUMAN ELEMENT
The focus is not the worlds, but the people inside them.
Characters are not heroes
Confusion and fear are constant
Decisions are made without certainty
The contrast between absurd environments and human reactions defines the series.
TONE
A blend of:
Absurdity
Dry, uncomfortable humor
Psychological tension
Emotional realism
Moments can shift quickly from ridiculous to serious.
PERCEPTION
Internal states affect external reality.
Anxiety distorts space
Detachment empties environments
The line between perception and reality is blurred.
TRAVEL
Movement between dimensions is unpredictable:
Portals
Fractures
Sudden transitions
Characters are pushed forward, not in control.
THEMES
The multiverse represents:
Fragmented identity
Fear of meaninglessness
Action vs avoidance
Struggle to connect
The worlds are not just settings.
They reflect these ideas.
