🎙️ Voice Acting Audition — Cynder (Recurring Character)What is this?
This is a casting call for Cynder, a key character in an original animated YouTube video based on my indie monster-girl comic series. This video will be the longest and most cinematic entry on my channel so far. Previous uploads have focused on short scenarios with monster girls, but this upcoming scene is part of a more narrative-driven direction I’m exploring.
This project is entirely fan-funded and independently produced—I'm editing the video myself, including panel animations, effects, and sound design. While it’s not a professional studio production, I’m treating this seriously and want to bring strong, passionate voice talent onboard.
Context & VisualsCynder appears in this upcoming scene as a nervous but flirty rogue posing as a shrine maiden to lure out a powerful dragon-woman. The scene balances humor, tension, light seduction, and danger.

Who is Cynder?This isn’t a fully animated series—it's a stylized comic video with voice acting and visual effects to enhance key moments. Think of it like a manga brought to life with sound.
Cynder is a smart, sarcastic, and expressive character. She uses her charm and wit to mask fear, but the cracks show when things get dangerous. She’ll appear in future videos as well, so this is a recurring role for the right voice.
Voice Traits:
Playfully nervous, flirtatious under pressure
Sarcastic and expressive
NOT high-pitched anime—more grounded and human
🎙️ Mic Quality:
Please use a clean setup with no background noise, distortion, or echo. XLR or USB is fine as long as the quality is clear.

Final NotesThis is a fun, monster-girl-themed series with a slowly growing world and lore.

I need a voice actress to dub Cynder, The red haired girl in the comic I'm making!
She initially tries to rob the main character, Umbretta. But quickly realizes she won't be able to get away with it due to Umbretta being a Shadow Spawn from beyond the stars~
Umbretta then decides to use Cynder as bait to lure an evil dragoness into a cave so she can be slain.
Ideally, this VA would be able to capture the energy and vibe of cynder from each panel. As well as be cool with cursing, and over the top dialogue in general.
The key thing I’m looking for in this role is someone to read the lines with ENERGY. I am looking for someone who can be animated, especially with any screaming or emoting 😊
