Project Overview
Story summary:
At the age of 17, Pearl Bryson has dealt with the loss of family twice, both times at the hands of members of the same criminal group. She finds herself alone in the world, not having any contact with or knowledge of any other family she may have. With the lingering suspicion of police involvement in the murders of her family, who is she to turn to? In her time of need, a lone hitman, a group known for dispensing their own brand of justice, and a detective looking to reform her corrupt department all find themselves deeply involved in her current struggle. Will she be able to find closure and let the law take care of dealing with the criminal group that has brought her so much pain, or will her unstable emotions get the better of her and set her on a path to bloody vengeance?
Genre: Crime, action, romance, drama, tragedy.
Rating: Mature for strong language, violence, drug abuse, sexual themes, and other material that may be considered triggering.
If you are considering auditioning for this project, please keep in mind that the characters you're interested in voicing may be put into some uncomfortable situations, meaning you would have to voice those uncomfortable situations if you are cast for the role.
If you plan to audition, please:
-Have a good quality mic.
-Be capable of voicing a wide range of emotions (anger, sadness, pain, fear, etc.)
-Be willing to communicate with me through Skype or Discord.
-Be serious about meeting deadlines.
-Be willing to stick with this project.
-Don't be sensitive about receiving critique or being asked to redo lines
The characters up for audition are for episode one. Some of them won't appear in future episodes, and some won't appear again until later episodes. There are many main characters not up for audition since they don't appear in this first episode.

Age: 30
Seemingly a nice guy you can always count on, he secretly looks down on people and thinks of himself above others and despises his job as a bodyguard.
Voice: Smooth, medium range. Usually speaks with confidence and can sound like he's a mischievous guy always hiding something.
Main role in episode one, won't really appear much in later episodes.
(incredulous, worried) Of course I wouldn't! Little bird, I'm trying to do my job here, but sometimes you make it a little-... a lot, harder than it should be.
(defeated, resigned tone) Siiigh... I swear you've shaved years off my life with how much you make me worry about you.
(amused) I'm not stupid. I know what I'm risking here. I have no intention of spending a day behind bars, and I certainly don't plan on getting offed by no assassins!
Age: 45
One of the men involved in the acts of violence against Pearl's family. A very sleazy guy with no redeeming qualities.
Voice: Medium-low range, cocky and full of himself.
Important role in episode one, but no appearances in later episodes.
(sultry, provocative) Now, now... No need to rush things. I want to thoroughly enjoy the experience.
(smirking, slight sarcasm) Ah, so you can speak. I'd be disappointed if you didn't remember this handsome face of mine.
(angry, searching frantically) Where are you?! You're not getting away from me. Even if everyone else in this room has to die, I will make you pay!
Age: 22
A loner by choice, he doesn't have any trouble communicating with others if he wants. To those who don't know of his occupation as an assassin for hire, he's a charming, harmless young man that could not hurt a fly.
Voice: Medium range, soft and friendly (not chipper or bubbly).
Considered a main character, will appear in most episodes.
(during an urgent call) It's me. I need a ride quick. I'm down in shark territory, are you far?
(slight disapproval) I think you forgot to mention a little inconvenient detail here, pal. Care to explain why I find myself having to deal with a hostage?
(nervously trying to explain) Well, this was unplanned but, uhh... Say hello to our new roommate! Well... when she regains consciousness... She's kind of out cold at the moment, heh...
Age: 42
An awkward, timid but kind hearted man. He used to be a taxi driver who now offers to drive clients to do their illegal activities. He feels guilty about his occupation so he tries to do as many good deeds as he can when he's not on the job.
Voice: Medium range, shy, awkward, nervous, nerdy.
(nervous/unsure) Hospital, orrr....?
(nervous/unsure) Well, alright... if you say so...
(awkwardly trying to joke) Phew... After that, I think I deserve a generous tip, don't ya think?... N-No, don't take that seriously, it was a joke... ehe...
Age: Late 30s
Gangster usually plays the role of a driver in missions. Sometimes helps out in kidnappings but does not like to take part in anything more violent than that.
Voice: Medium range, loud and friendly, Latin accent.
Not many lines, will maybe appear in later episodes.
(insistent) Y'all already know, I ain't shooting no ladies. I got the girl, but I ain't shooting nobody.
Nah, man, I don't like the way blondie's been eyeing the girl, homes. We got orders not to touch her, so I think you better keep this creeper in check, aight?
(muttering to himself) Why I gotta be stuck with this weirdo man. Why I gotta be punished like this. I'm a good person. Really. I am.
Age: early 40s
Gangster usually put in charge of kidnapping/murder missions. Serious, professional kind of attitude.
Voice: Medium-low, slightly gruff. Monotone mode of speaking.
Not many lines, will maybe appear in later episodes.
It's time. Let's get moving.
(stern, giving orders) You two move upstairs. Don't make me have to clean up any mistakes.
(threatening) Here. Now I suggest you disappear as far away as possible. If we find out the authorities got their hands on you I'll have to make you disappear for good in my own way. You catch my drift?
Age: 17/18
An introvert who does not trust others easily and has no close friends. She prefers to not involve herself with people but is also not afraid to stand up to others if pushed to despite the consequences it may bring.
Voice: Medium range, soft, almost bored manner of speaking. She usually doesn't show much emotion in her tone.
Considered a main character, will most likely appear in all episodes.
(skeptical, doubtful) Why mention it to you. You never would've agreed to take me there.
(with scorn/contempt) I never did trust you. You could never truly make me feel safe. But I do admit I didn't see this coming. Because I never imagined even an ounce of courage to pull something like this, existed in you.
(trying to be defiant in a scary situation) I remember. Not just your hideous face, but everyone else that was there that day... All your faces. Your hideous, disgusting faces... So that one day I could bring everyone to justice, I made sure to burn your faces into my memory.
Age: 40
A sweet woman who is quite motherly to almost everyone. She is always looking out for others.
Voice: Medium range, Soft, reassuring, calming.
Will probably not have any appearances in later episodes, but might be included in a flashback or two.
