Since the last update, I’ve officially finished all the animation work for this project. Woohoo!
Now it’s onto the final steps: working with voice actors, editing everything together, creating thumbnails, and getting it uploaded. I’ve already reached out to the selected VAs and we’re currently working on the voice lines.
If you’ve been following this project and are reading this, thank you so much for your support. It really means a lot.
I’ve made rapid progress on this project since the last update. we’re now about 90% done with the animation. I’ve also updated the final character profile picture on CCC, so the characters you see in the casting call will match what appears in the final work.
If I have to give a expected time this project will be finished, I'd say another 1 months for the animation to be done, then another 1 months for the remaining voice work, editing, thumbnail to be finished, which could take a little longer so a little over 2 months is my guess.
Sorry for the lack of update during the recent time people. But I've been slowly making progress on this project still despite some life stuff getting in the way and me having 110 hours in Mewgenics despite it only being out for like 2 weeks (Yes, I have a problem).
Right now I am 70% done with the animation. I always put a still frame of a scene whenever I am done with it on my Instagram so you can check it out if you want to see what I've been up to

Also I've created a characters status sheet to better visualize where we are at currently. I'm very proud of it so far because there was a day where all of the characters are still placeholders and now there are only two placeholders left.

One more thing. I've decided to finish with all of the animation first before moving onto voice lines, and that's why some roles are still open even until now. There were some very strong submissions for all roles and I'm happy with the current pool of selection despite not locking in all of the roles yet. So for the roles that are still open, feel free to audition if you're interested!
Hey all, It's been a while so here's an update on the project.
I had the month of July off work and instead of working on the project, I've decided to join this year art fight instead (Yay team fossils).
https://artfight.net/~KeithisFight/attacks
This is because I felt like my art skills needed a little boost by going out of my comfort zone, trying new things and not staying in the confine of my project's scope.
And as of now, I think I've made the correct choice because my art skills both in quality and productivity has increased by a significant margin which would greatly benefit the project in the long term.
About the project (What will happen within the next week)
I've acquired an AT2020 XLR mic and will be re-recording all of my own voice lines again (need to redo the lip-sync) because like I said, it's go big or go home at this point.
Between that and putting all of the newer raw assets together into a finalized video form I'll be proud to say that we will have gotten pass the half-way mark of the project (50% done).
And of course, I'll be contacting some of those who have auditioned for the project soon when it's required.
