Coral's Scavenger Hunt
Project Overview
INTRODUCTION
Hello, everyone! This casting call is for an audio novel that I am creating called "Scavenger Hunt". It is about a teenage girl dealing with her emotions, while also embarking on a quest to find her long lost family. (cliche ik).
We're casting for a few of the main voices to be used throughout the season. If you're not cast for a main role, and your voice matches the tone of the show, we may ask you to provide lines for supporting roles in the production. You can also find out those additional roles on the discord (link at the end)
I won't be paying anything, so this will be a free, project, since I won't be making any money off of you. I hope you understand.
If we do post this, (most likely on youtube), I will most defiantly credit you in the description
DEADLINES AND AUDITIONS
The audition deadline for episode 1 is June 30. Callbacks will be until july 8th. I am planning for this to be a longer running show, if it gets enough people, so please stick around and not just ditch us in the middle.

We communicate primarily through Discord. If you are unfamiliar with this application, you can still audition, however, we strongly, strongly recommend participation through Discord so that you can collaborate with your fellow voice actors. Discord is an extremely easy site to use, and you can create an account in less than 5 minutes
WHAT WE ASK OF YOU
- First and foremost, have fun -- we take pride in bringing together talents in different mediums to create something truly phenomenal, but none of it means anything if the people involved aren't passionate about their craft.
- Please submit clean recordings on prosumer mics (no air conditioners in the background, no fans -- we don't mind performing noise reduction on your files, however too much clean-up reduces the quality of your voice). And speaking of clean-up -- please let us handle the post-production. Don't add effects to your lines -- leave that to our audio geniuses :)
- We do occasionally ask for line re-dos, but we do this sparingly and only after great consideration - we realize your time is valuable, and we won't ask for anything we can't work around in edits.
- Lastly, since we are planning on multiple episodes of Scavenger Hunt, we 'd like to cast people who will be able to stick with us for a while. We're incredibly proud of the acting troupe we've formed over the years, and when starting a new project, we frequently return to voice actors we've worked with in the past.
- When you audition, Please say the lines more than once in different tones. This is so we can get to know your voice range a little better.
- Please, Please, PLEASE, join the discord. I will be most active there and the information will be sent out there. If you already auditioned here, you don't have to on the discord. That is just for people who joined through Discord.

Coral is a sweet and timid person. While she can be really shy, there are sometimes where she is brave and speaks up for herself. She is the lead role. Coral is very timid and shy around everyone except her best friend and crush, ratliff. Coral also has social anxiety and grew up alone, as her family disappeared when she was just 6.

I guess...I just have never been like that so I don't really know how...Ratliff always knows what to do or say and she never cares about what others think of her
Am I early…?I don't think I am...but I don't remember hearing the-
Ratliff is a playful character. She has a lot of catlike personalities. She is always there for her friends and can be really loud at points. This is all to cover up the burdens she carries every day. her voice is more raspy and sounds older then she actually is. She has a loud booming voice.
I don't see the problem, I liked the story about Azura, and you looked cute reading it.

He is basically Loki, super smooth talking and loves to prank others. Henry is dapper af and he has a good heart. Henry Is one of Ratliff's friends. He is a very charming and nice character. Though he can be two sided at times, he never goes against his friends. His voice is a deeper male voice...that's it, just a deeper charming male voice.
Well, I think they got sent to the principals once….but I am not sure - No, they definitely got sent to the principal’s office at least once...If my memory serves me correct, which it probably is not, then he got sent there more than once.

She's usually a chipper gal and likes to live life to the fullest, she's also a bit of a goofball but she understands situations where she needs to be serious. While she doesn't care much of the opinions of strangers, she weighs heavily on the opinions of those she considers close to her such as friends and family. Her Voice is Softer, more motherly than anything else. Her voice is soothing and reassuring.
Well I don't really want to hang out with him, but you can if you want
So...How did you guys meet? Ratliff told us that you both have been friends for a long time.
The quiet twin. Marco likes to listen to music and read, but he can be outgoing around his friends. Don't let his shyness fool you, Marco is smart. His voice is a mid tone male voice. it isn't too high, but it isn't deep. He hasn't hit puberty yet
- Hey, I heard you like to read, what’s your favorite book?
Uhh, that’s not how it went! I was reading on the side of the stairs when you all of a sudden rushed out of the school and landed on me while you were skipping steps!
Marco's twin, and the more outgoing of the two. He is more brave and is willing to pick a fight, while also being very studious. His Voice is Lower than mid-range male voice, but still cant be classified as a voice that has been through puberty

The antagonist. The backstabber (physically and mentally) who tries to get with the MC the entire plot. He will do anything to try to get his way. His Voice is kinda sadistic. Honestly more whispery, but he's still 15, sooooo

You will need to be able to convert something from Novel format to a script. It is a pretty easy job, I just need some people to help me. You must have and join my discord to get this role. discord:

You basically need to be able to write a storyline and help with the script. Its a pretty basic role, but you will need to be up to go on calls to discuss the plot.
