Constellate Audio drama/song project
Project Overview
Constellate is a audio drama and music project that will be hosting on a few different websites. It will mainly follow the structure of two or three drama episodes followed by a song expanding on the previous episodes. There will be a few other things like introduction videos, shorts and possibly a mini comic (we're still working out the details of that one though!) to go along with each episode. They won't be the main focus though. It is a very small team and an amateur production (we don't have a big budget or professionals working on it, we're literally just making this project for fun and because we have a story we want to tell!) so keep that in mid when applying!
You will be required to voice act and sing for this project so please include a bit of both in your audition! Please also include the language the character speaks in your audition, it doesn't have to fully be in that language as long as there's a sample.
You can apply for multiple characters!
Basic Story
Constellate, a new Idol group trying to make a name for themselves. Made up of nine members from each of the territories within the shattered universe they travel throughout the universe performing shows and gaining fans. Although there's another reason for their group's existence, the energy of the shattered universe is being absorbed and they've been tasked with finding the source and curing the weakened energy through song.
Payments
The payment info is slight off but it's the most accurate to how it will work. Everyone will be paid £1 per minute of audio. Each episode will be around 10-15 minutes, we would like to pay extra for songs but we're still working that out so for now just assume it will be around £5 per song. If we make any money from uploads that will be split equally amongst everyone working on the project although we don't expect to make any!

If you want to ask any questions at all our dms are always open. This project will take a while to complete it won't be just a few hours of work so make sure you're okay with that! A godess from the outer universe. She's quite naive due to living alone most of her life but eager to learn about all sorts of things! She loves music but only really knew folk songs from her planet's archives before joining the group. She is very kind and sweet but does tend to get easily involved in the other's strange plans and pranks.
Age(human equivalent): 21-24
Voice style: Soft and flowy. She has quite a sing song style of talking. She doesn't have a particularly high pitch but it's definitely not deep.

Coming from a show family she is used to being the centre of attention and playing tricks on people. Sometimes she does think she's better than others but tries her best to show how much she cares for the other members. She is very confident and outgoing. She quickly makes friends and although the others do find her a bit too much sometimes she is well liked.

Voice style: Loud, speaks quite fast. Quite high pitched.

An Idol from a former group popular on his home planet. He was loved mainly for his looks and sparkling smile, he wanted people to like him for more than that and after a 'dating scandal' he took the opportunity to join Constellate. He likes to support everyone and tries to help with performances. He's very cheery but is mostly calm.

Voice style: Smooth, deep but not too deep. Speaks confidently.

A trained assassin who doesn't really want to be an Idol. She is quite cold and doesn't really join in with the rest of the group. She does like sweet things though and can get quite into performing when she's in the mood, if not she doesn't really enjoy music at all.

Voice style: Strong, quite deep, Speaks low and quiet most of the time.

A star who gained a physical form. She is very excitable but sweet. She loves performing and encourages Mirielle's bad habits. She likes experimenting and learning new magic. She loves fashion.

Voice style: Very bubbly but not super loud. She speaks with quite a high pitch but not as high as Mirielle.

King of his planet. One of the oldest known creatures in the shattered universe. He likes making fun of others and jokes around a lot. He does take his role as king seriously but most people wouldn't know that. He loves performing and having eyes on him.

Voice style: Smooth, not that deep, loud and flirty.

He used to be a librarian but after some convincing he joined Constellate and found he does enjoy singing and performing. He's a very soft and sweet person. He is mostly blind so doesn't bother changing his humanoid form as much as everyone else, he often gets help from Chaemin to learn dance moves since he's not very confident in that.

Voice style: Soft spoken but Quite deep. Talks quite slow but precise.

A young Prince turned Idol. After a falling out with his parents he put his all into becoming a great Idol and helping Constellate achieve their goal. Although he's young and inexperienced in life beyond his planet he does his best. He loves cutesy stuff and has become best friends with Mirielle. He is quite loud and excitable.
Age(human equivalent): 17-19
Voice type: Tends to squeak a lot and stammers often. His voice is quite high but not too high and definitely not childlike.

From a family of famous cartographers. They don't particularly want to be an idol but took the opportunity to pretend like they were exploring the universe like their family wanted. They're not really interested in becoming popular and just want to sit and read poetry all day.

Voice style: Quite deep, monotone, often sounds bored.

One of the most popular idols across the shattered universe. They're known for their kindness and pleasant aura. They didn't want to join Constellate initially but events agreed although no one is really sure how the company got them to change their mind. They aren't in the group they just act as a trainer and guidance.

Voice style: Soft, barely above a whisper. They have a very strong singing voice though. Not very deep.

The director of Constellate. He's responsible for everyone in the group and puts a lot of pressure on himself to get everything right. He's very passionate and always wanted to be a star himself. He knows most languages in the shattered universe and used his knowledge to make the translator on the tour bus.

Voice style: Speaks quite fast and loud. Very powerful voice bur speaks quite melodically.
