Project Overview
WHAT IS CONQUEST?
Hello, my name is Norwin. Conquest is a series I have been working on since February. I have been writing and writing each and every episode until I finally finished by the end of March. Now I need voice actors. The series is aimed to be like a TV show but on Youtube. I am aiming for three seasons. Every season will have ten episodes, including the first one which I finished, and what you will be reading off of. Each episode is around twenty minutes long (so basically 18-20 pages per episode). It is a medieval-themed story that will take place IN MINECRAFT. It follows our three main characters who live in the country of Sarameia. After two prisoners, Flynn and Rinus, are wrongfully put into prison, a guard, Theo, helps them escape as they try to escape to a mystical world, running away from their countries strict regime.
REQUIREMENTS?
-Discord
-Decent mic (duh)
-Minimal background noise
-Age is 15+
-Send auditions via mp3
-Do not edit your audition audio aside from normalization, compression, noise reduction.
-Include discord in audition description.
-Do no more than 2 takes per line.

Flynn is a very "fun" character. He seems very childish, yet still mature in a weird way. He is very calm and rarely get's angry, but when he does it is very unexpected. Flynn is what I like to call a "tame" character, and is just a fun, light-hearted guy trying to do the right thing.

FLYNN:
(tense, direct, almost angry tone of voice)
He is less superior in ranking yet he has endured much more than you two ever have combined. I mean, you both weren’t man enough to take the blame for the death of the council member.
FLYNN:
(depressed, scared voice)
Well...I was walking to work and these two guards and a gentleman walked out of the bar. The guards and the man were arguing, and they saw me and made fun of me. I admit, I retaliated back but I wasn’t having the best of days at the time. The gentlemen told the guards off for making fun of me and they started fighting and with one swift push to the wall...dead...we started running and...that’s it…
FLYNN:
(alarmed voice)
I-I don’t like this...an ALLEYWAY?! I mean...we could get killed…
Theo is the smart one in the group. Even though he is fairly young, he has gone through a lot. Being in a war can change someone. He is wise, and knows most about anything, and is fairly friendly.

THEO:
(shallow voice)
Corruption. The dark underbelly of this kingdom. Hell, even this country. One second, you are a free man but the next, you are sent to prison or beaten up for something you didn’t do.
THEO:
(alarmed voice)
I’ll admit, I...I screwed up back there, but you do realize WE ARE ALL screwed.
THEO:
(focused)
If I’m looking at the map correctly, then this should be Godwin’s Creek, which means we have two miles until we hit the town
Rinus is a messy character. At the beginning of the season, he is a rugged person. He acts very unorderly but as the season goes on, we begin to realize that that persona was just his shell and that he's been through a lot.

(angry, frustrated)
Give up? This isn’t giving up. This is a change of plans...FOR ME!
RINUS:
(light-hearted, fun tone)
So let me tell you a tale. Now, I’ve been in solitary many many times, and one day I just started digging randomly and I find this chest here full of this porkchop-looking stuff! I tasted it and it didn’t taste anything like any meat I’ve ever had but it tastes delicious. This chest here could last you 50 years
in solitary, I’ll bet ya that.
RINUS:
(excited tone)
We’re here! So we might need to take a quick detour through a secluded part of town,
but it shouldn’t take too long. Five minutes tops.
Willow is like Rinus. At first, she is rugged and is unorderly but eventually becomes a much more advanced character. It's obvious she hasn't talked to any intelligent being in years. She is tough but fair and likes to lay down the law.

WILLOW:
(frustrated tone)
You all don’t NEED to be free. You WANT to be free. And there’s no fine line between WANTING and NEEDING.
I refuse to help you.
WILLOW:
(focused)
To make the potion you need a flower called a Black Dahlia. Sadly, it’s uncommon to find this time of year, so I have to go to the flower shop.
WILLOW:
(cocky)
Trust me, if anybody were to attack us, they wouldn’t stand a chance.
Sister is very shy and hasn't interacted with many humans. It's obvious she has many secrets, yet keeps them to herself, as with many things. She's a lady of few words.

SISTER:
(shy, yet excited)
Well, perfect! Follow me and I’ll take you to the door. Let me just grab my torch.
SISTER:
(shy)
I don’t have a name...but you could call me “Sister”.
SISTER:
(focused, still shy lol)
They will spread the best division of guards across the country, searching every nook, every cranny, into finding them. They have only done this a few times, and each time they found whoever they wanted to.
Leland's a simple man who seems normal at first but when you talk to him, you realize he's kinda odd...the best way to describe him is as "the odd one out".

LELAND:
(tense, direct tone)
Nice to meet you guys. Now, I’ll give you all a deal. Unless you don’t go outside of the house so guards won’t find you and throw me into the mix, I’ll let you stay here for four days MAXIMUM...alright?
LELAND:
(understanding tone)
The silent treatment eh…? Heh… classy. I have a question though. When you guys get outta here...where are you headed?
LELAND:
(secretive whisper)
Well...I can’t believe I have to admit this but...I broke out of the prison many years ago and have been hiding in this shack ever since...
A mysterious character yet is very broad and direct and is very easy to anger.

ABADDON:
(angered, tense tone)
IF IT’S A FIGHT YOU WANT, IT’S A FIGHT YOU GET.
ABADDON:
(sarcastic tone)
*scoffs* If I’m thinking what you’re thinking, then no.
ABADDON:
(tense)
I smell lies. And I don’t like lies. So tell the truth or regret it.
The King of Artisia is just like any other king. Bold, full of courage, but the thing different about this one, is that he's sort of...corrupt.

KING:
(agile, unapologetic)
I must advise you, citizen, these two guards have sent out a full-scale investigation against this murder. And all of the cards are playing against you…
KING:
(slightly nervous, still bold as usual though)
Erm...we have just gotten information that states that one...wait...TWO, prisoners have broken out of containment. Again we are trying our best to alleviate the situation. Please stay indoors for the time being.
KING:
(bold and to the point)
I was just getting to that. I’ve contacted every kingdom within the surrounding districts. Nothing so far. Are you thinking what I’m thinking?
Even though this character doesn't even have a name, he is still important to the story. This character is the dumber one of the two. Young and naive, he makes his way through life by being a bit corrupt in his ways.

GUARD 1:
(tense, amused)
What are you guys doing?
GUARD 1:
(surprised)
So...we actually convinced the king HIMSELF that we didn’t kill the council member?
GUARD 1:
(threatening, dark-tone)
This is your final chance...turn yourselves in...or die.
Even though this character doesn't even have a name, he is still important to the story. This character is the smarter one of the two. He has the most moxy, and can tell when something fishy is up. Like his friend, he is a corrupt mind.

GUARD 2:
(talking to friend who is in disbelief of something they did, snarky tone)
Of course, we did. If we didn’t we’d be in the same jail cell Mr. Godfrey is in right now.
GUARD 2:
(worriedly-angry) Look, we are lucky. But if you blurt out ANYTHING I swear to god-
GUARD 2:
(dickish-tone, rude and drunk)
Heh! YOU are calling US slobs when you wear those rags as “clothes”?
A fun character to play. Energetic and spry, Griffin doesn't let anything make him sad, or mad, he's just an energetic, down-to-earth guy who owns a taylor shop.

GRIFFIN:
(excited, seeing someone he hasn't seen in a while)
Hello-...well, I’ll be...IT’S MY BOY THEO! COME ON IN!
GRIFFIN:
(saying how is shop is out of the shop, slightly disappointed)
Uh...I’m sorry guys but these past few days people have been in and out...yknow...I don’t have anything...or anything good in that matter…
GRIFFIN:
(reluctant, but still in a nice tone)
Er...if you all can find me some cloth or something then maybe I can make some shirts out of them.
Cricket first appears to be a naive, young guard just trying to make his way through life, but turns out to be someone much darker in personality. Snotty, almost.

CRICKET:
(realization)Man...when I first heard of you, Theo, I thought you were like every back-stabber out there. Is this why you escaped with those criminals?
CRICKET:
(neutral, grateful tone of voice.
Thank you. Good luck with your escape, guys. You’ll need it. Oh yeah and by the way, here’s my address if you need me. I’m trained in combat, so.
CRICKET:
(reasoning with someone)
Sir...we’re just here to help you…
