Celestia Wants to Date Twilight Sparkle (A Mlp Audio Story!)

Twilight possesses a huge amount of book-knowledge and intelligence. But Twilight lacks in social skills. This can be seen right in the first episode/pilot when some ponies invite her to a "get together" but Twilight would rather study. Later then, Twilight Sparkle is sent to Ponyville by Celestia to make some friends. Twilight Sparkle feels the opposite way, and doesn't really care to make new friends. While there, Twilight still devotes herself to studying and not trying to make friends. Though, she does meet the rest of the main ponies. Later in the episode Pinkie Pie even holds a party for Twilight, but Twilight isn't interested and just goes to bed. Twilight studied about the "Mare in the Moon" and the "Elements of Harmony" and learned that Nightmare Moon was going to come back for revenge. Twilight thought she could defeat Nightmare Moon by herself, but realizes after everything her "friends" have done for her, she realizes that she does need them to defeat Nightmare Moon. Without her friends would of never defeated Nightmare Moon or survived going through the Everfree Forest.

Twilight can seem worldly and naive because of the lack of her social skills, which can be demonstrated when she had her first slumber party with Applejack and Rarity in the episode Look Before You Sleep she was really excited about it, since she used a book about slumber parties through the episode, and checked off stuff as they completed them. When a tree came through her bedroom window, she was at a loss because she couldn't find it in the book. She also ran her first long-distance running event in the episode Fall Weather Friends, but she only had to read about it and not take the book along. She ended up getting fifth because she did what the book said and paced herself.

She is also the most educated out of all her friends, and tends to take more practical approaches to solving problems. She is also straightforward and honest, she is prone to her friends sarcasm. She never wants to show off her powers to her, even though she has incredible magical powers and is highly intelligent. Despite her not wanting to make friends from the start, she realizes she really treasures her friends.

Later in the show you are given the knowledge that she has a brother named Shining Armor. They according to her were really close and was her one of her only friends when living in Canterlot. She ends up gathering some of her personality from their relationship back then and retains some aspects of it throughout the show.

She is also organized, which can seen a lot throughout the series.

Princess Celestia acts as a mentor to Twilight. She often does not directly state her goals but rather gives the advice to help her students find the answers they need. For example, she wrote a letter prompting Twilight to make best friends in Friendship is Magic, part 1 when her goal was for Twilight Sparkle to find the Elements of Harmony.

Despite being royalty, she often encourages her subjects to relax with jokes and gentle questions. She also shows great patience with any inappropriate behavior towards her, as seen when Pinkie Pie snatches a cupcake from her at a party in A Bird in the Hoof.

Celestia displays a fun-loving side when she chuckles at the bottle of disappearing ink sent to her by Twilight in Griffon the Brush Off. In A Bird in the Hoof, while sipping from a constantly refilled cup of tea, she pretends to sip from her already full cup, causing Mr. and Mrs. Cake to overfill it. She watches with a smile on her face when Pinkie Pie devours one of her cupcakes, while Mrs. Cake gasps and drags Pinkie away. Celestia tells the Mane Six in The Best Night Ever, after they ruin the Grand Galloping Gala, that she always found the Gala awful and she was hoping they would liven it up. In Make New Friends but Keep Discord, Celestia invites Discord to the Gala for this same reason, and by the end of the episode, she declares it to be "the most fun Gala in years."

While kindhearted and slow to anger, Celestia's patience does have its limits. When faced against the threat of Discord's return in The Return of Harmony Part 1, Celestia wastes no time in demanding that Discord return the stolen Elements of Harmony. Also, in Lesson Zero, when Spike makes her aware that Twilight inadvertently unleashed mass chaos onto Ponyville in her obsessive attempts to find a friendship report to send to the Princess, Celestia personally intervenes to undo Twilight's out-of-control spell. She sternly orders her student to a private meeting to discuss her actions but remains understanding, and at the insistence of Twilight's friends she agrees not to punish Twilight, instead asking them all to send her friendship reports only when the lessons make themselves apparent to them. In A Canterlot Wedding - Part 1, after Twilight accuses impostor Cadance of being evil with no evidence to back her claims, Princess Celestia, along with the others, makes clear her deep disappointment in her student and walks out on Twilight after Shining Armor and the other ponies. But in A Canterlot Wedding - Part 2, while displaying righteous rage to the newly-exposed Queen Chrysalis, she eventually commends Twilight for her instincts that told her the impostor Cadance was evil.

Celestia can also be very forgiving. She does not admonish Fluttershy for taking Philomena without asking in A Bird in the Hoof. As mentioned above, she does not punish Twilight for the chaos she caused in Lesson Zero. In Keep Calm and Flutter On, she firmly believed that Discord could behave, in spite of the trouble he had caused in the past.

Once transformed back to her former self, Princess Luna is remorseful and tearful upon seeing her older sister. She runs to Celestia's side, apologizing for what she had done. The two sisters later join the celebration in Ponyville, where Luna receives a welcome wreath in wonderment, and gazes up with an anxious smile at her older sister. However, as stated in Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep?, Luna's sense of guilt causes her to create the Tantabus in order to give herself nightmares every night as punishment for the suffering she caused as Nightmare Moon.

Princess Luna returned to the show exactly one year after the broadcast date of Friendship is Magic, part 2, in the episode Luna Eclipsed. The episode takes place in Ponyville during Nightmare Night. Despite wanting to win over the citizens of Ponyville, the townspeople are frightened of her booming voice and assertive manner. Twilight Sparkle tells Spike that Luna must be having trouble adjusting after being gone for a thousand years.

When Luna tries to express her happiness with being purged of her dark powers, Twilight tells her that she sounds like she's yelling, and Luna explains that she's using the "traditional Canterlot voice," the royal we, and high volume in order to properly address her subjects. She uses archaic terms like "hath," "thy," "nay," and "thou," as well as other constructs.

Twilight encourages Luna to lower the volume of her voice, but Luna is hesitant. Twilight Sparkle recruits Fluttershy's help in teaching Luna to speak in a softer voice, and later takes her to Ponyville so Applejack can show her how to be likable. For a short while, Luna manages to mingle with the villagers of Ponyville and have fun with them, by playing games where she throws toy spiders or pumpkins onto a target. In Sleepless in Ponyville she seems to show less of her former decorum, dispensing with the royal we, and speaking in a far less harsh manner.

Saving Pipsqueak.

Princess Luna reverts to her intimidating self after Pinkie Pie accuses her of eating Pipsqueak, while she was actually saving him from drowning in the apple bob. She attempts to endear herself to the villagers by turning toy spiders into real spiders, trying to elicit "fun" by making them crawl on their own to the bulls-eye, but the spiders only frighten everyone. The villagers panic and flee, and after a few seconds of indecision, Luna stops the commotion by shouting "Be still!" in her royal Canterlot voice, to the accompaniment of a crack of thunder. She then decrees in anger that since the ponies dishonor and insult her with the celebration, Nightmare Night is canceled forever.

Thanks to Pinkie Pie's insight, Twilight Sparkle realizes that because of the holiday, Pinkie Pie and her entourage actually want to be frightened, so she arranges for Luna to purposefully scare them. Luna appears as Nightmare Moon, scares the ponies, and bares fangs. After the ponies run away in fright, she changes back to her usual appearance and spits out the false fangs she was wearing, confused as to why Twilight wanted her to do that. Then Pipsqueak approaches Luna on behalf of the children and asks her to come back and scare them again next year, even though she canceled Nightmare Night. Luna begins to understand and reinstates Nightmare Night, at which point Pipsqueak declares her his "favorite princess ever" and hugs her leg.

The princess manages to relinquish the use of her royal Canterlot voice, and in the epilogue she plays a variety of games with the villagers, accepts the foals' candy, and frightens Rainbow Dash by firing a bolt of lightning behind her, a trick that Rainbow Dash had been playing on other ponies over the course of the night.

In the episode Sleepless in Ponyville, she displays kindness and offers wise advice to Scootaloo when she tells her to face her fears. At the end of the episode she gives Scootaloo a wink and a smile, as she knows that Scootaloo has faced her fears and she also knows that she has Rainbow Dash to help her overcome them.

In For Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils, Luna once again appears in a nightmare; this time, in Sweetie Belle's nightmare. She gives advice to Sweetie Belle and tells her that she as well has a sister that often "shines more brightly" than her and that she struggles with it. She then takes Sweetie Belle into the past at her fifth birthday party and shows her that Rarity did not want to take over the party, just simply save it. Later, Luna tells Sweetie to go inside a door of what the future might hold if she does not fix her sabotage of the headpiece Rarity had designed for Sapphire Shores. Later in the episode, Luna appears again in Canterlot in order to help Sweetie Belle undo the damage she did to the headpiece.

Cadence is a kind and caring soul who goes out of her way to help those in need around her as best she can. She has a deep love for her family, and great loyalty for her friends. She is an avid foalsitter, and adores taking care of children. It has been said she can have a playful and teasing streak at times, which helps when taking care of little colts and fillies. Though perhaps more relaxed and not as formal as she should be, she does know when to be serious and formal when the need arises.

Applejack is a very reliable and hard-working pony, although Applejack is very headstrong and will almost always do stuff on her own, and won't ask for help. In the episode Applebuck Season her families annual apple harvest all by herself, because her brother Big Macintosh was injured and needed to recover. In this episode she also helps out all her friends with tasks that they asked her to help with. This then proves that all of this was more than she could handle. A couple of times in the episode, Twilight Sparkleoffered to help her out but Applejack refused, proving how headstrong she is. After she helps lead a stampede of cows away from Ponyville, the townsfolk hold a ceremony in Applejack's honor, where her friends praise her willingness to help anyone help. When she receives the trophy, she doesn't show much excitement to the crowd and just goes right to apple-bucking. She nearly dies from exhaustion until she finally accepts Twilight Sparkle's help.

Applejack has a Southern American accent. She doesn't really care about getting dirty or messy, unlike Rarity. She also doesn't really like things that are "too girlie", like dresses, though in the episode The Cutie Mark Chronicles as a Filly she once wanted to be a pony like that. She is almost always seen wearing her light brown stetson hat, which see never removes except to go to sleep. She also is the only pony she tie her mane and tail back too.

She is usually always kind and considerate, but she lacks patience with any aggressive or rude behavior. This is shown in the episode Look Before You Sleep, when her and Rairty's fight ruined Twilight Sparkle's sleepover, Applejack ends up apologizing first. Also in the episode Fall Weather Friends when she let herself become underhanded like Rainbow Dash trying to win. However she apologizes first, and shows once again that she is the better pony.

Sometimes, Applejack is ill-tempered than the rest of her friends, along with Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash once made a joke about her temper saying, "Sometimes, she's sour apples". She tries to keep it under control, but it can get a hold of her and make a bad situation even worse. In the episode Over a Barrel she is quick to argue with Rainbow Dash, making the situation with the Appleloosans and the herd of buffalo worse.

Applejack also is not used to lying to people, which is shown in the episode Party of One when she had to come up with an excuse of why she couldn't go to Gummy's party.

Fluttershy loves all kinds of wildlife, except for full-grown episodes. She is also more open towards animals than she is to ponies. Her ability to handle all types of animals is unique, because unlike every other Pegasus pony, she is not involved with the weather manipulation of Ponyville. Futtershy is extremely quiet, soft-spoken and really never raises her voice; her idea of shouting is a soft, high-pitched squeak. She is also non-violent, but when she is mad enough she will kick something, but it's just a light tap. Whenever she voices her opinion, she frequently apologizing after. Because she is very non-confrontational. Her fear of dragons was revealed in the episode Dragonshy, she could barely function out of this fear.

Though, once she saw her closet friends being harmed by the dragon. She overcame her fear and used her abilities to scold the dragon, it was ten times her size too. She scolded it like a mother telling her children that he has done something wrong. Well, Fluttershy's scolding worked, and it worked 100%. The dragon busted out into tears. She overcomes her fear in Elements of Harmony (episode) too. She stands up to a Manticore, but she realizes he was just in pain and helped it out, she also stands up to a Cockatrice in the episode Stare Master and told it to do as she said even when she was being turned into stone. She is normally very quiet and calm, but she does have some loud outbursts, which is rare for her.

For example, in the episode Sonic Rainboom (episode) when Rainbow Dash finally performs the Sonic Rainboom she cheers "A Sonic Rainboom! She did it! She did it! Woooo!" very loudly while jumping up and down. In the episode Stare Master, she was forced to raise her voice twice, once to get the Cutie Mark Crusaders' attention, and another time to scold the Cockatrice. In the episode The Best Night Ever, when the animals in Canterlot's garden were running away from her and wouldn't listen to her, her rage slowly built up until her patience was pushed to the limit, and she then became psycho. This only happens to her when she is over excited or has a lot of stress. In Stare Master, she was forced to raise her voice twice to gain the Cutie Mark Crusaders' attention. Additionally, in The Best Night Ever when her patience is pushed by Canterlot's garden animals, her frustration steadily builds into rage bordering on psychosis. This can be considered extremely "out of character" for her and only happens in situations of excessive excitement or emotional stress.

She is often portrayed as conceited and brags about her accomplishments. She is a very competitive person, shown in Fall Weather Friends, where Applejack and Rainbow Dash create an Iron Pony Competition to see who is the most athletic. However, even though she brags, she is the most loyal pony out of all of her friends. In the pilot episode 2, Elements of Harmony, she is given the Loyalty Element when she turns down the opportunity to join the Shadowbolts for her friends instead.

Every single one of her friends (that she didn't know at the time) didn't have their cutie mark until after the first Sonic Rainboomhappened. The Sonic Rainboom was the reason why every pony got their Cutie Mark. It caused every friend to get there cutie mark nearly right after hers. (Fluttershy's taking care of animals, Rarity's love for gems and fashion, Twilight Sparkle's talented magic spells, Applejack's love for Sweet Apple Acres, and Pinkie Pie's constant need to be happy and throw parties)

As the holder for the Generosity Element, Rarity is the most generous pony out of the group. She is often shown creating dresses for her friends without hesitation. At one point she ends up creating dresses for every one of her friends for the Grand Galloping Gala. She cares a lot about her appearance and others. Shown in numerous episodes she does not like to get dirty and will do anything to avoid it.

So try to sound exactly like her from the show.

Spike is a bit sarcastic and he often laughs at others' misfortunes. But, he is also very helpful and supportive towards Twilight Sparkle. He is also very protective of his masculinity and says he doesn't like anything 'girly', though he can be seen being enthusiastic about stuff like than as any of the others. Spike can be insecure sometimes, for example when he thought Owlowiscious was going to steal his "Number One Assistant" spot away from Twilight Sparkle.

One thing that can seen during the series is that he really enjoys announcing. He got into this first in the episode Fall Weather Friends, where he was going to announce for the Iron Pony Competition, he later got disheartened when Pinkie Pie was already set up as the announcer for the Running of the Leaves, but she then asked him if he wanted to be co-announcer and he had no problem with saying yes. In the episode Suited For Success he continued to do this where he emceed Rarity's fashion show for Hoity-Toity.
