Hi! I'm sure you're wondering, what the hell is this project? Again?
Not to worry. I will try and explain everything here.
This is a passion project organized by me, and has been stalled for quite a while due to voice actors leaving and my general need for my hands to help.
The comic that we are dubbing is called 'High Class Homos', and can be found on webtoon through this link.
The story is about a lesbian princess and a gay prince getting married just so they can be with who they love. Shenanigans ensue.
If you are to audition, then please ensure that:
You can get lines in under 2 weeks. Extensions are possible but i'd like to keep it running smoothly.
You have a decent microphone, and not a headphone mic to keep the quality consistent. USB is fine as long as static is inaudible, an example would be the Blue Yeti.
Be kind to the other staff and treat them as you would like to be treated.
If you have a problem or issue, be vocal about it so it can be solved as swiftly as possible.
Respond frequently to dms.
Do not ghost the project.

Now, what we are looking for.
Currently, for voices,
we are looking for two male VA's to portray August (Prince), and Percival/Percy (Commander), as well as a trans masculine or more gender neutral VA to portray Lucas. The first two characters are gay, so please be sure you are okay with that. This is a SFW comic, so there is no NSFW.
August and Percy are main characters, however August more so, as he has more lines. However both are integral to the story.
Lucas is also an important character, though his character arc has not been dived too deep into. He is a FTM, or a female to male trans person.
August is a prince who is trying his best, very generic protaganist. He is a bit softer than the generic protaganist, but is very determined to do things, if not for the sake of the people he loves but to make his father proud. HE is oblivious however, though much less so compared to Percy.
: Not extremely high pitched nor low. nervous, but can be stern. honestly, do a few shots at him. i was thinking a kind of similar to the blonde haired boy (minamoto teru) in this link.
Percy is a commander, who is very airheaded but kind, and mistakes his feelings for August as brotherly friendship at first. He is extremely compassionate and kind, as well as extremely oblivious to any romantic cues whatsoever. He is the youngest captain in the kingdoms history, placing him also as a very hard working person.
: much more lighthearted, was thinking a little higher as more of an energetic go getter vibe, kind of like this clip of minamoto kou (the blonde kid) (they're different, i promise!!).
Lucas is a knight, and Percy's close friend and confidante. Originally stayed at the palace as a maid and came back a knight. Has ties with a few characters in the story, and is seen to be very snarky, sarcastic but still very kind and sincere with his words.
: Not really much direction to go with this one, more sassy but not flamboyant and more of the friend that sits back and watches you create a disaster and cleans it up after while laughing at you.
STAFF ROLES!
Looking for one more editor! Just a generic editing style for comic dubs is fine. Was looking for a supporting editor, as we already have one. The workload would be split between the two of you.
