Come Again | Audio Drama (VAs Male/Female Needed)

Come Again | Audio Drama (VAs Male/Female Needed)

Project Overview

COME AGAIN - Wolfe Brothers Miniseries is a spin-off of its ongoing parent audio drama WOLFE BROTHERS SAGA. The Come Again miniseries features the backstory of secondary characters from the main continuity.

Due to the recent loss of our original narrator we have decided to go forward with the series and its spin-offs as a multi-voice production. Some roles from the Come Again story may have recurring parts in future productions and if you portray a role in any spin-off we may ask you to reprise that role in future productions; many of these minor/extra roles in the miniseries often develop into major/supporting roles within the main series.

=The Story So Far=

The main leads in Come Again are TYE and CARINA.  The narrative is split into past and present scenes depicting how the two leads first met, how their lives diverted into different directions and how they subsequently reunite as adults later in life, with the reveal that teenage Carina had given birth to Tye’s child, Jake.

The present-day scenes in Come Again are concurrently taking place with the continuity of recent events within the main Wolfe Brothers Saga podcast -- most notably the wedding of series leads Cameron and Maggie.

Please be aware that COME AGAIN and its parent series WOLFE BROTHERS SAGA contain adult situations and themes including adult language and sexual content that may not be suitable for everyone.

=Current Available Role=

!The main Leads TYE and CARINA are already filled!

JT:  A rebellious 18 year old with a bad attitude. He becomes friends with Jake, Carina/Tye’s son. He is also one of three triplets including Brock and Peter. (Peter does not appear in Come Again and Brock is a minuscule role;  the VA for JT should also be expected to perform Brock in any general North American teen styling.)

=Additional Notes=

We utilize a private Discord for our VA team to better communicate and share their work with the creators.  The creators are always available to answer further questions and elaborate on any ambiguities.

The creators strive to make the process as easy and more importantly FUN for all involved.

Please join us to make some incredible characters come to life!

Role assigned to: MEHaynes_VA

Story is told in two parts (past and presence). Need a distinct voice for late teen boy and another for mid 30's man, preferably a deep southern/cowboy accent.

  • “Didn’t mean to offend. Let’s put the kettle back on the burner.”

  • “Much better. Now I can see your purty face.”

  • “If a bandana is tied to the knob, then don’t come a knocking ‘cause there’s gonna be some rockin’.”

Story is told in two parts, (the past and the present). So will need two voices, one for a late-teen girl and one for a mid 30's woman.

  • #“Guess the stereotype is true. The pastor’s kids are always the wildest.”

  • #

“I believe in a higher being, yes. But I don’t give her a name. It’s hard to explain, which is as it should be when referring to the creator of all things.”

  • #

“Well, I can’t bring myself to call her It. Doesn’t seem quite right. And I won’t add to the already over-inflated egos of the modern man by referring to the creator as He. So, yes. My higher being is a She.”

cast offsite

This is a small role for this project but we are hoping to cast the same voice actor for a larger role in an upcoming project wherein JT's role is much larger.
{Max Redford - co-producer of the project will be directly responsible for the casting of JT and any further directorial decisions involving JT)

  • “I'm sorry I got you in this mess.”
"Hell, dude -- it's all wasted time. That's just the way the cherry pops."

  •  [narrator voice] - JT meant every word. He was a total fuck up, constantly disappointing his family and wasn’t sure he could stomach disappointing Jake too. Jake and JT were rebels against the norms of society. Why should he stop for a red light? Why does he have to be twenty-one to drink but only eighteen to die for his country? Why is someone with green hair and multiple piercings considered a freak? Is it such a bad thing to want to have fun?

  • [narrator + character dialog] - JT looked over his shoulder at his best friend. “What’s up with you and girls? I ain’t no homo but I can admit you’re a decent enough looking guy. Grow some confidence.”
