Project Overview
Long story short, these are very small roles where all you need to do is say various phrases and/or sounds that play before dialogue is typed out on screen. Atlus does this in most of their games if you need an example of this.
This game is a murder mystery in an alien world where everything has an outcome.

This is a woman that's traveled the world as a journalist, while moonlighting as a famous romance novelist under a pen name. She's very humble but knows she has talent. She's friends with everyone and is unbothered by most things, supernatural or otherwise. She's not materialistic and only ever spends her money on necessities, or to do a good deed once in a while.
Her ultimate goal is to find her father, whom she was stolen from as a child. She barely remembers him but feels she would recognize him if she saw him.

The ghost of a girl so self conscious, she fell to her death trying to 'cure' herself of impurities. She cries a lot and is overall very upset that the main character can see her. She's a relatively vengeful being but can be convinced to help the good guys, if you try hard enough.
You... You can see me? No! This is terrible!
What I want is for you to GO AWAY!
You really think I'm pretty...? I wish someone as nice as you was around when I was alive...
She has huge... Nah, I'm just kidding. She's just physically massive.
She runs the whole hospital with a "hand" in every operation, and so when she is sick, the whole place falls apart.
She's very sweet and has a warm and inviting voice that puts you at ease-- Or intimidates you, depending on how you feel about her gigantic presence. She doesn't care about a person's past and will treat them regardless, though one may receive a lecture if they're being destructive.
She is very loyal to her grumpy husband, and often tries to keep him thinking positive, though she may just be using it as an excuse to ignore her own feelings of confinement. Her and her husband, a doctor, are both trapped inside the hospital walls and therefore can only immerse themselves in their work.

She's kind of crazy. Really crazy. But it's not her fault, she had issues with fertility in life and suffered from extremely bad postpartum depression. It led her to do some horrible things she regrets to the point of insanity, and having people badmouth her beyond the grave has turned her into an extremely malevolent being. She's the only ghost capable of killing a live person.
She is someone who was sweet and caring before suffering from these illnesses-- therefore, while at rest, she returns to a very calm and gentle state. She speaks softly and sweetly, though it's since become blunt and annoyed as well. When she is actively hunting someone, she is in hysterics, screaming angrily, laughing to the point of pained wails.
The only thing that can fulfill her need to move on is the forgiveness of her husband, who is in a vegetative state.
To act for her, you also need to be able to at least hum a tune.
I've warned you, over and over, do not speak to me. I will not warn you again.
Do you want to know how her blood tasted? Like sweet ichor stolen from the temple... Blood that she stole from me.
They refuse to say her name. But nobody refuses to say mine, they use me as a curse- And it cursed ME!
He's sweet, really. He has impulse issues but controls them well. Though, now there's nothing to control. He's effectively in a coma, aware but not responding. He occasionally speaks, but very briefly.
If brought out of this trance He's very talkative and boisterous. He is also soft when he needs to be, especially with his psychotic ghost wife.

Mama bear speaks very informally and works as a janitor. She's strong, and she'll totally beat up whoever messes with her babies.
She's very calm and patient with her kids and will speak softly to them if they're upset. She drops everything and crosses country if that's what it will take to make them feel better.
Oh, baby, I know it's not fair. But if you want to make it fair, you'll have to work hard.
I heard what you said about my boy. You, me, outside. Now.
He's been having a rough time at work, baby. Don't let him upset you. How about we get a TV for your bedroom? You can watch all your crime shows on that.
Roommate of the Dementia man.
This guy is very quiet and prefers not to speak unless spoken to. He has an interest in entomology. He has no contact with family.
He met his roommate through a mutual friend. The two live(d) together so neither would be alone should they not find love. They're like very close brothers and after an accident, this one took care of the other.
After some time, he has been swallowed by depression and has isolated himself in the basement where he has almost literally rotted away. He's still perfectly sane, somehow, though.
There will be some instances in his dialogue where he has no teeth and has a lot of sludge in his mouth.
[No teeth] Hello...? Is someone out there?
[Being quiet] Hm... Yes.
I'm sorry... It wasn't your fault.
She's just waiting for her son to come home.
She's very calm, almost emotionless, and assists in train operations, helping to guide people with her blessing. Her son got lost in the world of drugs and she's waiting for him to return. She has faith that he will.
Should the player keep that from happening, she becomes a very, very upset antagonist.
May I sit? You look lost. Is there something on your mind?
The cards will look into your soul and tell me what they see... They have no knowledge and cannot tell the future.

He's just a henchman. This is a very small role, if you want it but want more to do, also consider the Mad Son. Similar affiliation.

He's a man that does nothing but laugh and be paranoid for a while until a spell is broken. Then he's calm and calculating, but warm.

It's taken me a while, but I figured out what this was.
She's someone lost in the world of drugs, but she doesn't do it for the high. She does it to feel closer to her late sister.
She's taken it upon herself to protect younger kids on the streets. Occasionally, she mutters under her breath to reassure herself.
This is a small role, but you get to practice your "creepy but harmless" type of acting if you like that sort of thing.
