Classic, Again.
Project Overview
Hello everyone,
This project is going to be a podcast, a podcast wherein we have one narrator read an excerpt from a piece of literature. After reading the piece the other three people in the podcast will analyze and mostly just share their thoughts on the writing.
The atmosphere is going to be more of a free flowing discussion of the parties present. I'm looking for multiple people for each role so don't be afraid to audition!
When you are logged in, you can comment, add submissions, create projects, upvote, search open roles, and way more. Login here.
What im mostly looking for is the ability to carry and support an interesting conversation in an entertaining way.
I think Hemingway could use a bit more emphasis on chapter's theme.
That's an interesting motif.
The skill I'm looking for here is a good ability to read larger sections of text. Your role in this podcast will be to read a chapter or two from a book or short story. As long as your clear in your words and deliver it well, your in.
“In youth he had felt the hidden beauty and ecstasy of things, and had been a poet; but poverty and sorrow and exile had turned his gaze in darker directions, and he had thrilled at the imputations of evil in the world around. Daily life had for him come to be a phantasmagoria of macabre shadow-studies; now glittering and leering with concealed rottenness as in Beardsley's best manner, now hinting terrors behind the commonest shapes and objects as in the subtler and less obvious work of Gustave Dore."
