Citrus Manga Fandub
Project Overview
Is it just me or is the Citrus anime actually taking forever to air. So what if we did a manga dub to help the time pass faster?
Hey I'm Raspberrii, and i'll be voicing Aihara Mei! Citrus is one of my favorite manga, It is a yuri Manga about one step-sister falling in love with the other.
Citrus currently has 28 chapters, out and it still being made to this day. There are extra's and voice drama's that we may possibly be doing, but that will be decided one the main cast has been put together.
Rules-
- Try to fit your desired character to the best of your ability, but don't force yourself to sound exactly like them, that isn't our goal and it isn't very healthy for your voice. If you can, cool, but stressing it won't increase your chance of being cast.
- If you have a situation that may cause you to miss deadlines frequently, please don't audition. Your voice may be lovely, but we don't want to constantly look for a substitute for you because you miss the deadline over and over.
-You must be very dedicated to be in this project, you have to check up on the discord often, and list your status with lines and such, I will make deadlines according to how many lines your character has per chapter.
-There will be more roles added as time goes on, and the casting call will last longer than a month, that' just the latest date I can put it at.

Yuzu has a lower voice than most people wouldn't expect from this type of character.
Yuzu has proclaimed that she is a Gyaru, or a girl that "can't be without a man." Yuzu is a very shameless and carefree person, she is often seen breaking various rules, whether she knows the rule is in play or not. Yuzu talks about her various skills in relationships to hide away the fact she is not very good at them or her own feelings, at all. Despite at first being shown as a stereotypical dumb blonde, she is shown more recently being a bubbly, considerate, yet kind of brash, and clumsy type of person.
Haven't you got things mixed up? You say we're under the
same conditions, but... I didn't knowabout the rules 'cause I've just moved
here. The conditions aren't the same. Am I right, miss Student Council
President?Dad, I want to introduce you to Mei, my little sister. She's
taller than me, and also smarter than me, but she's also clumsy and violent,
but gets lonely too. And so, I also have someone I can protect. That's what I
came to report!What Mei desires, What Mei needs, I thought I had it all
figured out, always thinking about her, but... after being told to doubt
whether Mei really sees things the same way. I realize I may just have been
forcing my own presumption on Mei. However that Christmas eve, wasn't she...!?
No, what am I saying? I love Mei but still... I did think something was off
about Mei that night there, I definitely wasn't the one who isn't accepting the
other's feelings. So maybe...if we don't convey our feeling first, we can't
accept each other? in that case...! I have got to tell Mei how I feel no matter
what!!
Harumi has a mid low voice, is not extremely low though. she often goes pretty low when joking around with Yuzu though.
Harumi is an easy going girl, that gets along with Yuzu very well, leading them to become best friends. They both have a similar mindset, and enjoys breaking school rules with Yuzu. She describes herself as a "Gyaru (Woman who needs a man) in disguise". Although deep down she avoids trouble in fear of getting hurt.

Himeko has a high, bold type of voice.
Himeko is a rather stuck-up and stubborn, she absolutely loathes those who don't abide by the school rules. She often is seen outside of school in lolita type fashion. Himeko is VERY protective over Mei, she abhors that Yuzu and Mei have such a close relationship. It is very highly believed that Himeko has a very intense romantic love towards Mei, she often emphasizes that her and Mei were childhood friends.
Good grief! First president then Yuzu! Running from here to
there troubling everybody! But... being able to get so absorbed that they don't
see the people around them,.. it makes me a little envious.I'm so honored to have the privilege to be able to go on an outing with the President today!; If only Aihara Yuzu and company hadn't tagged along...
Matsuri has a very high pitched voice.
Matsuri is a cunning, mischievous girl, who is very good at manipulation. She is shown to have no shame and uses blackmail against her enemies. At the end of her arc, it is shown she was just lonely, and scared of losing her "onee-chan" ;Yuzu.
Yuzu-chan... I remember you. Have you been well? Since I'm
bored, I think I'll visit you.Taniguchi-senpai, you're very suspect, aren't you? You seem
to be always just watching from a distance, but... That means you're afraid of
being hurt. You always run from conflicts. Well, I can't say I hate girls smart
like that.*optional* I
said this to before but you have think about the feelings of the person
receiving this. the great affection you have has the possibility of becoming a
heavy burden depending on the circumstances. if you are only pretending to be
irresponsibly in love, than i won't say anything but if you're going to partake
in this boring adult world. you need to look at reality more.
Yuzu's mom sounds mature, just as an older matured woman would.
Yuzu's mother is very childish, immature and loves to tease Yuzu, she does have a mature side though, more often shown about Mei.
He
sprinkles abundant love on the children of the world, yet he can't do it for
his own child. While he loves her dearly, it's just terrible that he can't be
honest about it. A 16-year-old girl needs that.Shou...
Your daddy is a wonderful person, Mei. You've been with him longer than I have,
so I think you already know this, but, in regards to you and the challenges at
his job, he shoulders it all on himself. But because it seems risky, it makes
me want to support him.
