~ P.S. There are about 50 major character roles that I will cast for. ~
Hey guys, I'm going to be doing this whole series fandub for one of my all time favorite rpgs, Chrono Cross. So This project is going to take quite awhile and I want the utmost quality voice actors for this project. The sound quality of your mic, I will be more lenient towards since I myself don't have professional grade equipment either. So without further ado, these are my requirements:
Microphone - Must be clear. No background noise or buzzing.
Contact Information - Skype is preferable for fandub updates for the cast and crew. Must have an email account I can reach you at.
***IMPORTANT***
DO NOT ACCEPT THE ROLE IF YOU WILL NOT BE COMMITTED TO THE PROJECT.
I can understand when things get busy with work, school, home, illness, vacation, etc. but if you cannot meet the two/three/four week deadlines for submitting your lines, then I will have to re-cast your role. I will give you a notice and expect a reply within 2 or 3 days prior to re-casting your role. If you do reply within that time period, I will give you a 1 week extension to your deadline but no second chances will be given. I will be putting in at least 2 hours a day into the project so I want to keep the episodes rolling at least once per month.
This casting call will be for main/major characters. I will be making a separate casting call for extras.

A blacksmith from the town of Termina, and had been one of the four Devas of the Acacia Dragoons prior to the events of the game. I need a rough/gruffy voice for this role.
"Aye... These auld bones have seen countless faces of the flame in mah lifetime... But with this un, ah cannae say ah've ever seen more pure and genuine hatred..."

The cook at Viper Manor, and remains there when the Acacians relocate to Ft. Dragonia. The Porre Military made him ingest Quaffid seeds, and then transformed him into the Hell's Cook. Any rendition of this character is welcome but an Irish accent is preferred. ***WILL BE A BOSS FIGHT***
"The one that's hidin' within me is not '"another me"'... It's just another '"part of me."' I am who I am... Including my dark side. It isn't right to think of my other side as a separate entity whom I can criticize... Rather, I must accept who I am as a whole..."

Silent protagonist of the game. Does not say much so most of your lines will be as Dark Serge and battle sounds.

Main supporting female role for the series. Plays a very important part in the story. I need a ruffian/pirate/texan accent for this role. Be creative. She needs to sound like she was raised as an orphan who often gets into trouble.
"If the world's gonna be destroyed, then let it be destroyed! If history is gonna be changed, then let it bloody well be changed!"
"Show your face, Lynx! Yer 9 lives are up!!!"

A handsome and enigmatic magician. Needs to have a manly or mature voice. Probably along the lines of smooth sounding. Accents are welcomed.
"Is this what I have been searching for all this time... No... Stop it! I am no such thing. What good is it... to possess such dark power...?"

Commander of the militaristic empire of Porre. A respectable and dutiful person. Voice range can vary. I need him to sound studious and very proper. Accents are welcome.
"If I take this with me back to Porre, there will be even more bloodshed. And yet, it will give us enough power to withstand the other major countries. Is that all I have really desired this whole time...?"

The lead man/guitarist of the Magical Dreamers. I need a medium to medium high voice type for this role.
"Marvelous... It's a truly marvelous tone... It brings out light and darkness within me clearly!"
*Battle Sounds* He uses an eletric guitar for a weapon so be creative. You can sound like a rock star if you so wish. Though he is effeminate and must have a higher pitched voice.
Soft spoken and very elegant, she is the daughter of General Viper.
"What an awfully sad light... As long as we are alive, it is impossible to avoid partings. If that is so, then perhaps it would be better if one did not meet others at all... Excuse me? No! It cannot be... Is it you...? It is you! Oh, I am so relieved. You were always by my side, and yet I never noticed..."

One of the four Devas of the Acacia Dragoon's. A passionate man who weilds an axe and his fiery spirit.
"We sure went through a lot together, didn't we... It was fun. I may never see you again, but... take care, junior... I mean, Serge."

A reputable seaman who sailed around El Nido and developed a reputation for fierceness in Chrono Cross. I need a good pirate accent. ***WILL BE A BOSS FIGHT***
"Aye, Matey! It sure was a swash-bucklin' voyage! If ya ever wanna become a pirate, be sure to come see me... Aboard the S.S. Invincible!"

A powerful member of the Acacia Dragoons known for being the brother of Dario and the future heir to the Einlanzer sword in Chrono Cross. Needs to have the heroic type of voice. Nothing too specific but needs to sound very morally inclined.
"You have no right to say such a thing! I am my own person! I will choose my own destiny with my own strength..."

A female pink talking dog who belongs to Leena. Poshul speaks with a lisp, a stutter, many exclamations, and commonly using "I" and "me" interchangeably. Any voice range is acceptable. Just not ridiculously deep.

"Me am a bit busy right now. Maybe next time."

The wise chief of Arni and a former Deva of the Acacia Dragoons in Chrono Cross. Before Serge ventures to Lizard Rock, he serves as a tutorial instructor for battle mechanics, Element Use, and Stamina. ***THIS IS AN IMPORTANT ROLE***
"Our business is done. Shall we head back home? Kiki, Lolo, Una, Gonji, and all the others are waiting."
"Excellent! A true man, you are. Well then, let's get on with it."

The strong-willed mother of Korcha and sets an example for her son by living bravely. She appears early on in Chrono Cross. Any rendition of this character is welcomed. She needs to have speech mannerisms characteristic of all residents of Guldove. She doesn't say "CHA" as much though.
"Why can't we all just be happy for once? If only we could all hold hands and live together in peace and harmony? Why can't people understand this...?"
Scientific genius of the Acacia Dragoons in Viper Manor, able to reanimate Dragonian technology and craft startlingly original innovations of her own in Chrono Cross. She speaks with a Transylvanian accent.
"T'ank you. I vas able to gat'er valuable data. And... uhhh... Serge... Grow up to be a fine young man!"

Youngest of the four Devas of the Acacia Dragoons. Very opinionated girl. Sticks strongly to her likes and dislikes. Obviously need to sound like a child or pre-teen.
"What? Oh, I already knew that... I know that half of the blood within me is that of a demi-human... And I know that it'll be easier for me if I can accept that fact... What are you, my school counselor or something? Like, tell me something I don't know..."

A former general of the Acacia Dragoons and the lord of El Nido. Self-explanatory role. I need a senior/elderly voice for this one.
"And only then shall living beings advance forward, to a higher level? The 'survival of the fittest?' Is that the true meaning of evolution?"

One of the four Devas of the Acacia Dragoon's. An enigmatic man full of valor and lust for battle. Your run of the mill musclehead.
"HMPH! WHAT MEANING IS THERE TO A LIFE OF STRIVING AFTER WEALTH AND POWER...? IT IS NO USE TO YOU ONCE YOU DIE! AS FOR ME, I CHOOSE TO LIVE IN BATTLE AND ONE DAY TO DIE IN BATTLE."

Main antagonist in the game. I don't have a specific tone I'd like for this character but dark and menacing should do it. Preferably in the medium low to low range of voice. Maybe add some low growls to make it known he's a demi-human.
