Chronicles Of Eden - A Cyberpunk/Mass Effect Audiodrama (Book 1)

Project Overview

INTRODUCTION

Chronicles of Eden is an original story created by Lord Krit, otherwise myself. During my work on Star Wars and other projects, I had been taking the time to write my own story that was based on a DnD from many years prior.

Combining elements and influences from Mass Effect, Cyberpunk 2077, and Half-Life 2, Chronicles of Eden is set on Earth in the year 2280. The series is set in the futuristic and militaristic city of Eden, which is full of aliens from every corner of the galaxy. The city is run by the all-human military government of STORM, who years prior had secured peace with the intergalactic nations in exchange for trading resources and military control. STORM's main enemy is the insurgent group, Valiant Liberty, a group devoted to taking down their iron grip once and for all. (Heavily inspired by Final Fantasy VII). This casting call pertains to book one, which consists of Chapters 1 2, and 3, 4, and 5.

AUDITIONS/CHARACTERS

I am looking for clear-spoken voice actors to help define the characters within the story. Voice actors will play a slew of characters, ranging from street rats, spies, and scientists. The deadline for additional casting is November 17th, if you miss the deadline DM me through discord. Voice post-processing will be handled by me.

FINAL DETAILS

-Communication will be made through Discord where I can direct your performance via DM and give criticisms/compliments.

- Mic quality must be respectable.

-If you do not respond to me over the course of a month or two, then you will be recast. If you are cast and don't respond to me until 2-3 weeks later then you will be recast. I'm always ready to begin when I have the materials, so please know that sometimes projects wait on lines to be delivered. Role assigned to: MaryStan

Catherine Rivers voice is inspired by:

Jennifer Hale as Bastila Shan, Kate Beckinsale as Selene, Denise Gough as Yennefer

Cat was born in the town of Ruya and generally had a normal life. That was until her parents died and she was implanted with the biotic chip. She joined STORM as a soldier and served under them for a while. She was chosen as the surrogate mother of an experiment that had to be birthed and was left permanently weakened from the experience. She became frail compared to how she had once been and found herself incapable of getting back to her former size. As such she has become a diplomat in place of a soldier as she had a knack for picking up the languages of aliens.

She still has access to her biotic powers and is still a competent fighter, just not on the level she once was. Catherine Rivers is a regal and strong-willed character, believing what she does is the right way to handle it.

  • You call shacks and shelters homes….you think dirty needles can help the sick…...you think that these people have a life. They shouldn’t be held responsible for a war that ended decades ago nor should they be punished even to this day…

  • I’m not here to improve STORM’s approval ratings Administrator. I’m here to fix the problems you’ve continued to place upon these people.

VOICE INSPIRATIONS - Michael Mando, Michael Pena, Kamar de los Reyes

Biography: One of the primary antagonists of the story, Bryan Harper was the commander of the STORM black operations a decade before the setting of the current story. Harper led characters such as John Faulconer and Catherine Rivers on frequent missions together. However, he was a loose cannon and enjoyed being psychotic. He never minded collateral damage, especially when it came to innocents. He was sadistic in nature, frequently torturing prisoners to his liking during many skirmishes. His outlandish and rude behavior also irritated the likes of Catherine Rivers, whom he at one time tried to mess within the wrong ways. Harper was an opportunist and when the opportunity came, he ordered his men to betray John Faulconer and several others during a high-priority mission. John was believed to have died, and with his death came Harper's promotion as well as Catherine's retirement from the military. Harper then led operations in Eden, where he would torture, kill or fin any suspect or criminal that came his way (even if they were innocent). He believes that humans are above all, and will kill whoever gets in his way.

  • "If it isn't Miss Kitty Kat, fantastic."

  • "Collateral damage, all I see is the infrastructure bills being implemented hahaha"
