Choujin Sentai Jetman: Sleep on my Chest English Fan Dub
Project Overview
Choujin Sentai Jetman is a Japanese Tokusatsu series released in the early 90s written by Toshiki Inoue.
It features a group of people being infused with birdonic waves and turning into the superhero team known as Jetman. Together they fight the evil Vyram, a group who is attempting to enslave the earth.
Jetman received very high critical and commercial success on release with many people praising its character writing and drama as top notch.
For this fan dub I want to adapt the episode “Sleep on my Chest” as a means of practicing a fan dub of foreign media.
Jetman is a show I absolutely adore, as it is my favourite show of all time.
If you are casted in a role, I will ask you to try your hardest to match the lip flaps as well as you can. But I understand it may be hard being in a different language.
Knowledge on Sentai or Tokusatsu is not required. I encourage you to audition even if you haven’t heard of it.
Voice Actor
The leader of Jetman, Red Hawk. He’s got a no frills attitude and is driven by the supposed loss of his lover Rie. Who was killed during a Vyram attack.
Ryu needs to sound like someone who is stuck up in his ways and gives it as much as he takes it with no room for negotiating.

AKA Black Condor. Someone who was apprehensive about fighting in Jetman but soon was able to accept his role and become good friends with Ryu.
Gai needs to have the signature bad boy voice as well as a hint of sarcasm.

AKA White Swan. A nepo baby who immediately jumped at the opportunity to Join Jetman in order to gain excitement in life. She later falls in love with Gai and starts dating him.
I need a voice that sounds prim and proper with her.

After Rie is presumed dead, Vyram brainwashes her into the ruthless Maria. Maria has no memories of her previous life and is devoted to the enslavement of humankind. She starts off closed off but later opens up and forms a liking to Grey.
Maria needs to have a commanding voice, with a bit of room to sound a bit softer.

Grey is one of the Vyram generals. Though he is a robot he is the most human of the group. Enjoying listening to music while smoking cigars and drinking. He falls in love with Maria and does anything he can to protect her.
Grey needs a deep bellowing robot voice that can have a distinct sadness to it.

One of the Vyram Generals. Radiguet is the most evil and vain member of the Vyram group. He constantly belittles his fellow generals and acts like their a hindrance to his own plans.
Radiguet needs to sound like he’s the only thing that matters in the world.

One of the Vyram Generals. Tranza is the most powerful of the generals and has them all at his knees. Even though it isn’t official, he acts like he’s their leader.
Tranza needs to have a commanding voice.
