In the enchanting realm of Chervona, where gods watch from above and political intrigue weaves its intricate web, Aika Yoshino finds herself thrust into a world of secrets and mysteries.
As a princess from the distant land of Fusan, Aika arrives in Arkadia, a foreign land, as a political envoy. Amidst the prestigious halls of Chervona University, alliances are forged, friendships tested, and ancient ruins hold the key to unraveling the truth behind a looming conspiracy.
Technical Details
Hi there, this project is a student play, meaning that it's purely for academic purposes. The project isn't expected to produce money or champion a franchise or anything. At VTC we wanted to reach out to a larger voice acting community and also relevant communities like directors, audio mixers and so on. The play will be done in the VTC server and students will receive critiques throughout rehearsal. So this is really for people who haven't done a play before or want more experience in doing plays. Not all of us have the ability to take acting programs or maybe we want more experience in players in general and this is to help people get on their feet and/build confidence with acting along with evolving their skills.
We also encourage upstart directors to join us in our play or other people who want to enhance their technical skills. A lot of new directors have no idea what they're doing or even write a proper script. If you know you're one of these people, please don't be afraid to get help! We would love to teach you alongside our voice talents, so you have a safe environment to build up your skills and make mistakes.

Concept
A playful and elegant corporate princess trained as a warrior but bound to no code.
Bio
Sent as a political hostage to Arkadia, Aika navigates the complexities of diplomacy and education in a foreign land. Initially vexed by her situation, she gradually finds solace and builds connections. Aika's flirty and sometimes impulsive nature contrasts with her intelligence, leading to occasional misjudgments. And even then Aika is no ordinary aristocratic daughter. She was born to the head family of a zaibatsu clan, a corporate conglomerate with vast wealth and ownership of not just land but also entire trade routes. Thus, she is informally called a "tycoon princess". Her intelligence and social charm however are also backed up by incredible fighting skills. Aika is able to cast powerful spells and with training from a traveling samurai, she is a formidable foe, but in a foreign land, her mettle will be tested on all fronts.

Concept
The discreet and methodical daughter of a witch hunting clan.
Bio
Elini is the product of several generations of the Echery clan. She has all the charm of an aristocrat and all the anti-magic abilities of a witch hunter. Like everyone in her bloodline though, their unique magic stems from perversions of witch spells. Elini however has had enough of her clan interfering with her life and enrolled in Chervona University. She had hoped entering a prestigious school would take pressure off of her from her clan since they of course want her to graduate. With the arrival of Aika and turmoil brewing in Arkadia however, she finds herself on the frontlines of politicking and murderous plots.

Concept
An aspiring beast hunter with too much energy.
Bio
Born in a mountain side town in Arkadia called Este, Naomi had a simple and enjoyable life. Her ambitions were however sparked when her cousin came home a successful beast hunter and brought back all sorts of stories and prosperity to her local community. Since then, she's dedicated herself to beast hunting and strives to have the same impact as her cousin. As a daughter of craftsmen and toymakers however, her peculiar doll based magic forces her to take creative approaches to conflicts. If you ask her peers how she is socially, they'd describe her as a wildflower or a country bumpkin.

Concept
The daughter of a scrutinized noble house looking for redemption.
Bio
Luvinia is the daughter of the last Nestanian noble house. Although house Kavala was able to survive the lightning invasion of Arkadia, the Nestania region however remains occupied by foreigners. House Kavala among a few others are the last hope to free the region and Nestani slaves. Arkadia however blames the sudden loss of their region on them alone and support within the senate is extremely limited. Luvinia has been sent to Chervona University to gain allies and rally support for to reclaim the Nestania region. Luvinia however is faced with the pressure of diplomacy at war, and at the young age of 17. She presents herself as a regal and level headed noble but deep inside, the cracks are slowly reaching the surface.

A patriotic son of Arkadia that will do what must be done.
Bio
Darion, embodying the essence of Arkadian politicking, possesses the keen observational skills and strategic judgement characteristic of the Echery. While not a witch hunter or inquisitor, he adeptly navigates the intricate webs of power and intrigue, always poised and vigilant. Intelligent and discerning, Darion isn't one for brute force and is in favor of diplomatic finesse, preferring alliances and to seek peaceful resolutions to conflicts. Engaging in scholarly pursuits and cultural endeavors in his daily life, he also seamlessly transitions into the realm of high society events.

Concept
The young household soldier ready to die for ideology.
Valens
His family has served the house of Kavala for nearly three centuries as professional soldiers. Valens is no exception to this tradition. He's been trained from a young age to fight great beasts, learn soldering methods, and has lifeguard training. His close age to Luvinia also made him a prime candidate to be one of the servants sent with Luvinia to Chervona University to not only to be her companion, but also to guard her life. Valens is also Luvinia's most trusted messenger as he's quick on his feet, and not one to be distracted, but also have his way with words. Valens however is much more of a soldier than a servant. He's quick to rush into a fight and is happy to start one, much to the discontent of Luvinia.

Concept
An aspiring knight that wants to leave behind a grand legacy.
Bio
His forefathers have left him a legacy of knighthood, however with the changing times, his family finds that there are no worthy nobles to serve. Instead, he dreams of joining the ranks of the Central Knights, an organization that will allow him to continue tradition and serve Arkadia proudly. In Chervona University he hopes the military program will grant him access to more than just knighthood in the central knights. His passion hobby is however journalism. He wants to share stories of recent and old events to all of Arkadia. Teasingly, some call him more of a bard than a cadet, but this doesn't dissuade him from his mission of telling real stories of real people of not only their success but also their dreams and tragedies. When Aika had previously taken up schooling in Arkadia, he felt a romantic spark but with her return, he now needs to decide if that spark really ever meant anything, and if it does, what sort of fire will it lead to?

A scholar's determined son that also likes to brawl.
Bio
Lastan was sent here by his nation amongst dozens of others in a project to change the world. The desert of Aregai is the product of an epic clash between sibling gods that left a sea without water for thousands of years. As water returns, the Eskandian government has sent out their finest students to engage not only in friendship missions but to have them learn how to deal with the dramatic changes to come. Citys will sink, yet all sorts of life will return, and it's Lastan's role amongst others to help prepare his nation for a new era. Lastan however is far too skilled in dueling and monster hunting to let that go. While he's engaged in his fauna related studies, he also jumps on any chance he gets to hunt beasts or get into a fight.
