World of Warcraft Audio Drama (Parody/Comedy) - Pilot

World of Warcraft Audio Drama (Parody/Comedy) - Pilot

Project Overview

Comedy and Parody based within World of Warcraft.

This is a pilot for a radio series set in World of Warcraft Classic/Vanilla. If the pilot goes well, there is a chance to produce 10 episodes in total, so if you can commit to that then that's great. If you can't, then that's also okay. This just a pilot, after all.

If you know Warcraft lore or are familiar with the game, this will involve an Alliance Party and dragons (sorry to all you Horde lovers. I main Horde myself, but this storyline is Alliance Only based on the source material. Don't send Dark Rangers after me.) The script for the Pilot Episode has already been written.

This is NOT paid as it is a fan-made project.

This is a TEST PILOT.

DISCORD IS MANDATORY (If I choose you, I'll DM you so you don't have to put all your info out there. Don't get doxxed!)

    Hello everyone!

Thank you to everyone who sent in auditions! I've enjoyed listening to your auditions, and it's a shame I can only pick 3 people because I was quite impressed with a few of the submissions. I have a few voices in mind and will be reaching out via DM about progressing further.

I've closed the Narrator and Adventurer1 roles, but am extending Adventurer 2 for the next few hours.

Edit: I actually extended the casting call until 11:30pm/2330 (CEST) for May 6. (2230 BST/5:30pm EST/2:30pm PST)

Edit 2: Extension until May 7

The narrator position sounds like a storybook introduction. They interrupt mid-scene in a Monty Python/4th wall break kind of way. If you've ever seen Dave the Barbarian or listened to the Chalice of Silvermoon, that's the wanted voice.

  • And our characters ran. So. Very. Hard. And suddenly they were back in Everlook.

  • To her annoyance, her new companion became a 'self-appointed' tour guide, which everyone in the world hates!
