Cells at Work! Ch. 7 Manga Dub
Project Overview
Cells at Work is about personified cells in the human body doing their jobs. The story is centered around Red Blood Cell AE3803 and White Blood Cell U-1146. I'm only planning to dub most of Ch. 7 from the manga. This segment shows young AE3803 getting lost when doing a drill. She encounters a bacteria who tries to attack her. She is defended by a young U-1146, and they are later saved by adult cells.
If you are auditioning for a character that isn't listed as minor, I recommend at least briefly looking at the chapter for additional context. You can read the chapter here: https://mangarock.com/manga/mrs-serie-99034/chapter/mrs-chapter-100211033
I'm planning to cut a bit out from the beginning and end of the chapter. If I don't get a lot of auditions, I'll probably cut more. I will be voicing young AE3903. This project is for fun, so it is unpaid. Feel free to audition for as many characters as you like. As long as the voices you use are distinct, I'm willing to double/triple cast actors.
Rules for auditioning:
1. Please have decent mic quality
2. No background noise and no peaking
3. Must be willing to provide Discord or email
4. Must be able to turn in lines within a reasonable time frame

Casting is partially done. I'm still making some decisions and will be finishing up either later tonight or tomorrow evening. Thank you for all the great auditions. I can't cast everyone, but I did enjoy hearing all the auditions. For those of you that have been casted, if you see this update before I reach out to you, feel free to DM me your discord.
I'm still new to learning audio editing, so I'd love to have some help if anyone is willing. I'm mainly looking for someone to help with sound effects and cleaning up audio (if needed).
Say something you think would fit
Progenitor Cell: A cell that has not yet differentiated from a stem cell to a specific cell type.
Hematopoietic Stem Cell: Makes blood cells such as red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets
Macrophage: In the bone marrow, erythroblasts gather around macrophages. Macrophages play a large role in the differentiation and maturation of erythroblasts.
Young boy voice. Females VAs preferred, but open to males auditioning.
Antigen sighted!!! (bold shout)
A bacterium doesn't deserve to know my name. (confident, distain towards bacterium)
Go to Hell... I'd never do that...! White blood cells protect other cell, even if it costs them their own lives. I'm going to be a great white blood cell someday!! (tough, even after taking a beating)
Warm, kind tone. I feel that a medium-high pitch would suit her best, but I'm flexible on that.
I'm Macrophage. I'll be the teacher for your class. (Warm, standard introduction)
Let's all work hard so you can become red blood cells! <3 (Cheerful)
It's okay. There's no need to cry. (Soothing)
GRRRR!!! BOW DOWN TO YOUR BACTERIA OVERLORDS! I WANT ME SOME TASTY RED BLOOD CELLS! (yelling, should be somewhat scary)
I can start now?
You're safe now, both of you. (Gentle/protective)
I'd like to hear both your normal voice and a "funny" voice for the bacteria. He should be creepy/scary, but not demonic.
Say, what're you doing in a place like this? (curious)
Hmm, "Mister," huh? You aren't wrong to call me that. I am far superior to you after all... but you're wrong about one thing. (menacing at the end)
I just looove to bully powerless little blood cells like you. (Enthusiastic/menacing)
I'm flexible on the voice and age. I imagine a medium pitch, but you can be higher or lower. Age can be also be middle age sounding as well.
Should this one be... a red blood cell? She does have red hair. (calling out a question, second part is a comment to herself)
Well... (Waiting for response)
I bet she'll grow up to be a dummy. (Comment to herself, try to be judgemental without being too mean)
I'm flexible on the voice type and age (young adult or middle age).
Sure, why not?
Thank you, as always.
I'm flexible on the voice type and age (young adult or middle age).
Do we have enough eosinophils?
Can I get one over here, too?
I'm flexible on the voice type and age (young adult or middle age).
I still need two more. Let me know if you see a good one.
I need one here too!
Young boy voice. Would prefer for a female to voice him, but males can audition as well if you can do a kid voice!
I'm carrying oxygen! (Happy)
She got lost and made herself dizzy (pointing out to teacher, light mocking)
*giggles* and *screams*
If you're scared, we could stick together. (Brave, cool)
Ah ha ha ha!
Aghhh (Scream)
Any pitch. Young adult-middle age voice
Here's your oxygen delivery! (announcing)
No problem. Have a good one.
You got it!
Coming right up!
