CEDA SERIES: The Vannah & Liberty Mall REMAKES
Project Overview
Hello!
My name is For6bey, I'm currently trying to gather voice actors to voice some characters for upcoming remakes of old videos of mine. Before I go into specifics I should probably give some background info onto what my series is about.
The CEDA SeriesThe CEDA Series is a fan-made project based off of Left 4 Dead 2, it takes place in an alternate universe that dives deeper into the lore of the games, expanding it in a way never done before.

I'm currently working on the 2nd season for the series, but I decided to remake some old entries in season 1 due to them not being on par with modern uploads and being very rough.
I'm currently remaking the "The Vannah" and "Liberty Mall" which are the 2nd and 3rd entries to season 1. The original versions of the entries (which are still up on the channel as of now) rely on recorded left 4 dead gameplay. The work in progress remakes use custom made source film renders and animations to give these entries a much needed glow-up, and to tell the story I always wanted to express without technical limitations stopping me.
Here is a short summary of what these entries will entail.
The Vannah:The Vannah takes places during the 3rd week of the Green Flu Outbreak in the east coast of the USA. The entry covers the fall of The Vannah hotel evacuation center in Savannah Georgia, focusing on the director of operations Dr. Oakswood and the owner of the hotel Melissa Mcguire.
Liberty Mall:Years after the events of Left 4 dead 2, two soldiers deviate from their patrol routes in order to explore the other evacuation center in Savannah. They venture into the Liberty Mall evacuation site in order to put some traumatic memories to rest.
Voice recordingOnce the cast has been chosen, I will send you the respective script that your role is in, and you'll be able to record your lines at your own pace till the deadline of 12/08/24. I'd probably want to text or call with you to explain some info and to give you some general direction.
PaymentAs much as I would love to compensate for the lines that people would be recording for me, I'm very tight with money myself, so the voices will go unpaid for as of right now.
HOWEVER, depending on how well the entries do as I just got monetized, I would be more than happy to the ad revenue I receive to payback the cast for their time and effort.

Voice Actor
Background Info: Melissa is the owner of The Vannah Hotel, working along CEDA to transform her hotel to an evacuation center before green flu hits Savannah. And helping CEDA's effort when green flu inevitably arrives.
Voice Description: her voice should be mid-high, mid, or mid-low range. Melissa’s tone is generally professional and upbeat, with a Southern charm, but should be capable of conveying exhaustion, frustration, and emotional intensity. She needs a voice that can shift from warm and inviting at the start to tense and increasingly distressed as time progresses.

Background Info: Dr. Imani Oakwood is the stoic director of CEDA’s operations at The Vannah hotel CEDA center, he is an agent who’s seen his share of crises.
Voice Description: His voice should be low. Despite his composure, there should be an underlying weariness and tension in his voice, hinting at the personal exhaustion and moral conundrums he hides from the public eye. His tone should convey a blend of reassurance, guarded optimism, and the weight of someone carrying intense responsibility while trying to maintain a rational state of mind.

"Melissa, I know you feel conflicted about all of this, I have my own thoughts, but we have to do what's best for everybody."

Background Info: David is a soldier years into the future, recruited on a Global mission to exterminate Green flu once and for all. David returns to Liberty Mall years from the last time he visited, to confront remnants of his past in order to make things right.
Voice description: David's voice should be deep and steady with a bit of gravel, even when he's happy, you should be able to sense the exhaustion and tiredness he feels. Despite all of this, when he has goal, he is always determined to complete it, no matter the cost. At the start of the script, he should seem to be the more upbeat out of Xavier and himself, but as the script progresses, that façade fades away as he grows closer and closer to events he wishes he can forget.

Background Info: Xavier is a soldier years into the future, recruited on a Global mission to exterminate Green flu once and for all. Xavier is often the voice of reason between David and himself, accompanying David during their journey through the old and forgotten evacuation center, even when he thinks it a terrible idea.
Voice description: I really don't have an exact idea on how high or low Xavier's voice should be, so you can get creative with it. Calm, confident, and steady, his voice should carry a grounded presence that reflects his practical and rational nature. Xavier’s humor is subtle, often delivered in a dry or sarcastic tone.

Voice Description: His voice should be deep, warm, and inviting. It should have a bit of a rasp with a bit of sass to compliment it as well.

"CEDA has claimed that Green flu is nothing more than a common cold, however it has become apparent that it is far more serious than CEDA was letting on. Why did CEDA lie to the public about the severity of Green flu?"
