UnderDog - Animated Short Film

ABOUT
Welcome! This is a casting call for voice actors for the short film UnderDog!
The underdogs of the world. An alley cat, a circus dog, and a battle dragon who were mistreated their whole lives meet under the moonlight of a special blood moon midnight. Together, they solve the riddle and enter the enchanted gate who claimed to be lost in the underworld forever. Given a special mission, they would have to find all the hidden keys in the enchanted forest to activate the OverLift. They only have three days to finish their mission before the enchanted gate closes and they would be lost forever. Will they find Hickory, the master fox who protected the OverLift?
WE ALLOW ALL ACCENTS! The language spoken will still be English.
HOW IT WORKS
This project is still underdevelopment, but it will be a team of artists, animators, voice actors, etc for an animated short film! This project is non-profit, meaning you will not get paid. The project is voluntary and we value our member’s time!
Discord is a requirement. We communicate and send files over on discord. This also means you have to be at least 13 years in order to apply, according to discord’s TOS.
WHEN AUDITIONING
• please send in a clear clip! Try not to include background noise such as rustling, fans, and more.
• the deadline for this casting call is set for November 20!
• Please read out all three lines (with tones expressed in the script) the lines clearly with the emotion listed!

Belle is one of the three main characters in UnderDog! She is a female cat that originated from the alleys. She can be very wise and true to her words in situations.
(Tired, annoyed, sad) Huh! Oh… not again? For how long are we trapped in here?!
(Happy, positive, excited) Finally! I think we’ve figured it all out!
(Wise) You must understand. It is not what you think it is, just trust me on this one.
Clyde is one of the three in UnderDog. He is a male dog, a dog who originates from a circus background. He has a fun, enthusiastic and goofy personality.
(Goofy, funny, teasing) Ahah! Belle can’t even find her way through those trees!
(Angry) Calm down will you? I don’t have time to handle your mess.
(Happy, enlightened) I think we found the way guys! This mission has definitely put my brain on the spot.
Brandon is the last of the three in UnderDog. He is a battle dragon (though species may change). Feist, fiery, challenge him up for a battle.
(Challenging) Oh yeah? Challenge me.
(Happy, excited) You’re so much better to go out on an adventure with! I would never be alone with Hickory.
(Sad, depressed) I don’t know what to do now… I’m starting to lose hope to be honest. Maybe we should’ve never walked through that gate.
Hickory is one of the supporting characters seen later into the story. He is a male fox, who happens to be encountered by the three while searching through the enchanted forest.
(Stern, confident) I’ve been living here most of my life! You can’t keep me hostage!
(Frustrated) Stop it Belle! Keep up or get lost.
(Pleading) Please… Let me go.
