Casting Call for "Main Story, Chapter 1, Episode 1" | Project Mokyuu: Magia Record Fan Dub

Project Overview

Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story is a mobile game spin-off of the critically acclaimed 2011 dark magical girl anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

Project Mokyuu aims to produce a high-quality English fan-dub for Magia Record’s Arc 2 content, which will likely never receive an official English translation. This project does not generate any revenues in order to avoid copyright concerns. Thus, unfortunately due to the nature of our project, we are unable to provide monetary compensation.

This casting call is for the characters we need to cast for "Main Story (Arc 2): Chapter 1, Episode 1"

This is the start of a new record! All is peaceful in Kamihama. The Automatic Purification System protects the Magical Girls from becoming Witches and the city is rebuilding after the destruction that Walpurgisnacht caused. However, peace is short lived as mysterious new monsters begin appearing and several new factions descend on Kamihama, all with differing goals and philosophies. Will the Kamihama Magia Union be able to achieve their dreams of peace among all Magical Girls, or will they be crushed under the pressure squeezing them from all sides?

Please be aware that voicing a character with us is a long-term commitment. You will be expected to be on-call for any content in which your character appears. In short, before joining Project Mokyuu, be sure that you have the commitment and responsibility for the role.



If you are selected and accept the role as a named character, you are obligating yourself to a long-term commitment to be this character's voice actor. 

Project Mokyuu tries to respect your time and is willing to accommodate VAs when/if life circumstances arise.

The deadline for auditions is July 14th. Casting decisions will be made public approximately a week after auditions close. If we cannot decide between two or more candidates for a role or if we feel we need to further evaluate your skills, a round of callbacks will be conducted. More information will be provided if callbacks are needed.

Even if you weren’t cast in this particular event, if we like your audition, we may reach out to you to offer you the opportunity to join our community for opportunities to audition for other characters in the future.

Despite trying to keep her distance, Livia is a kind and forthright person.
